Thin and Lightweight: The solar panel weighs only 4.4 lbs and is 0.08 inches thin making it easy to transport, install, hang and disassemble. The minimum radius of the arc that a solar flexible panel can reach 17.7 inches.
Wide applications: Perfect for 12 volts battery charging. Multiple solar panels can be connected in series to charge 24 volts or 48 volts batteries. Easy to use in off grid solar panel system, suitable for yacht, marine, boat, RV, trailer, cabin, car, van, vehicle, truck, caravan, golf cart, tent, rooftop, or any other irregular surface.
High Conversion Efficiency: With high efficient grade A+ monocrystalline solar cell, the 24.3% conversion rate of the solar panel is higher than other solar panels.
Advance Laminated Technology: Laminated by advanced polymer and ETFE materials, bump surface ETFE material with higher light transmittance can help to reduce light reflection and get the max use of sunlight. The multi-layered ETFE lamination also enhanced the solar cell performance and extend the lifespan of the solar panel.
Durable and Waterproof: The solar panel is equipped with an IP68 rated junction box that makes the whole solar panel waterproof, the built-in diode to protect the solar panel and the battery. Withstand extreme wind of up to 2400 Pa and snow loads of up to 5400 Pa.

This worked great. I mounted it to the roof of a trailer which had a curved roof. This was within the bend tolerance of this panel and it worked great. It is pretty limited in the amount of bend it can tolerate, it isn’t rigid but don’t expect to put more than a few degrees of bend across the unit. It does put out good power and and keeping up nicely with my trailer lights and fans.

The Flexible Solar Panel by Nicesolar, is a great way to add flexible solar to your set up where flexibility is needed without compromise. But is it still strong enough? Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.
I. Quality – This panel feels like very good quality that left me impressed for this level of cost. The solar cells appear to be decent and they’re coated in a fairly protective clear coating adding quality and performance. I’d put this panel in the lower side of the upper tier for this type of product and guess it’ll survive well in the proper set-up. II. Performance – The energy production appears to be good for the stated abilities (mine has a max of 50W). It’s easy to install and hook up with the included standardized wiring. The bendability is pretty good, but not as much as pictured in the ad. This is more for a rounded surface with minimal bend or a flat surface that you don’t want the panel sticking up too much from, because it’s so thin. You’ll also want to make sure its secure and won’t be bending constantly with wind getting behind it.
Overall, this panel has worked great at producing electricity. The high quality, flexibility, and thinness, provide a great solar panel for many situations. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.
If you’d find it helpful to see an up-close visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen or landscape. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well it’s a video!
You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.

First, this panel will NOT bend in the shape of a “C” – the photo is a bit misleading, but if you read the instructions it will tell you the maximum bend radius. It arrived well packed and protected. It is fairly stiff, but will curve slightly to fit a surface. I used this on an enclosed trailer roof that had a slight curve to it (about 2″ from one end of the panel to the other) and this fit fine. It is producing full rated power on sunny cloudless days, and overall is keeping my two large batteries fully charged in the trailer. It is a good panel – “flexible” but not “bendable”.

The panel appears to output about what it’s supposed to although I haven’t had a great sunny day to check it out fully. My gripe is that the advertisement showed the panel with a significant curvature but the included instructions show a much straighter panel and advise that more bending will damage it. Bottom line is that it’s really not meant for much bend at all which makes me concerned how well/long it will hold up in real-life use.

I ordered this solar panel for my RV and planned to install it in a location where it would need to bend a good bit. Looking at the manufacturer’s photos, it looked like it would be capable of bending that much. When I received it, I tried bending it by hand to see how flexible it is. Unfortunately, it would only bend a relatively small amount (see video). The included instructions also say not to bend it beyond the amount I’m able to bend it in the video. However, if you compare the manufacturer’s photo it is bent a LOT more than I was able to bend it. It is disappointing to see it represented as such a flexible panel only to find out it bends only a small amount. As long as you don’t need the solar panel to bend much, it might work great for you but it’s worth looking carefully at my video and the manufacturer’s included instructions to make sure the small amount of bend will work for you.

even the 50w one I got (which I do not see as an option anymore) is a little overkill for what I got it for. I have a small 10a mppt charge controller and I use it in my truck to keep the battery from getting drained. There is a parasitic draw on my battery from somewhere and it was easier to just toss this on the dash and hook a 10a solar controller to my battery than it is to find the draw. The truck sits all the time so it only takes a few days for the battery to die… not anymore… works great.

This nice panel is flexible but only to a certain degree. Can’t roll or fold.
I want to use 2 of these as windshield sun blockers in my overland rig.
Can trickle charge my battery while I’m on the river

Ist super dünn und gut und schnell anzuschließen. Wir haben es für unser Boot aufs Deck gelegt. Hat auch bei wenig Sonne die Batterien schnell voll gemacht. Top
