Pikasola 400W Wind Turbine Generator AC 12Volt Economy 3 Blades Windmill for Wind Solar Hybrid System 2.5m/s Start Wind Speed,400w Windmill…
1. Principle: horizontal shaft wind turbine generator, refers to the horizontal installation of shaft, parallel to the ground. The wind drives the blades to generate kinetic energy, which in turn drives the engine to generate electricity. Core components: blade + generator (engine) + rotating body + wind tail
2. Wind blade: 60cm in length, made of nylon carbon fiber. The longer the blades are, the more kinetic energy they generate and the more power they produce. Nylon material waterproof, corrosion resistant, lightweight, high efficiency.
3. Generator: three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor. Efficient and compact ac generator with high performance NdFeB permanent magnet. A fully integrated voltage regulator that automatically shuts down when the battery is fully charged. The fan is controlled by MPPT intelligent microprocessor, which can effectively adjust current and voltage
4. Rotating body: with yaw adjustment system, the wind direction position is automatically read and the rotor position is adjusted to capture the maximum wind energy. The tail fin is designed according to the aerodynamic principle, with low starting speed and low vibration.
5. Remarks: our products are designed through repeated experiments and tests, and the parameters are true, not false. Please contact us in time if you have any questions. Choose FBA to get wind turbine generator quickly.

Order came with a part that didn’t quite fit but they sent me a replacement part really quick. Works great, thanks!

The wind turbine is well made with Alloy frame, looks very sturdy. It can start with small wind smoothly as like advertised. Especially great is not big noise when turbine rotate in high speed wind.

Bought this for our trailer. Wanted to be able to generate some power while off grid and in snowy and overcast weather scenarios.
Set it up and tested it for a while at home. It is a nice and large turbine and it doesn’t take much wind to get it spinning. Got some gusts of 35-40 mph on the days I was testing and it handled it really well. Started generating as soon as it started turning, watched it with a multimeter to confirm.

Product seems well built. Had problem with blades. Emailed customer service and they agreed to ship me new blades no charge. Have had only winds up to 20mph so far. Unit handle it well. Overall pleased.

Even though the pictures show this on a tower tube/mast, you have to find in the fine print that there’s now tower provided and you have to design one yourself. Without easy access to a machine shop or very helpful hardware store, this “kit” is worthless. They should sell it with a basic mast that can be extended or strengthened with additional kits but there’s no support for it. I dragged this out to our off grid cabin, opened up the box, and found it can’t be set up without a mounting mast that I now have to waste several days at Home Depot trying to design. This is pathetic

I first purchased the Pikasola Red lantern 200W wind turbine design in Nov. but I could not it to charge my test battery. Pikasola refunded and suggested I go with the 3-blade propeller design instead rated at 400W. This one works well and my test battery is finally charging! As shown in the video it takes higher wind speed to start and does not look as COOL as the Red-lantern but at least it’s charging my battery which is GREAT! As we enter the winter months with high winds I will see how it performs.

The product information is pretty good… not misleading. I bought a meter and shunt to go with it… glad I did, as I know power production at any moment and cumulative. Start speed noted seems to mean blade start speed not power production. Around 9 or 10 mph I start getting power… hit 100 watts during a gust to about 20mph. Noise could be an issue for some, as there is a clatter from the nose cone at low speed (some silicone caulk could secure/quiet it). It also has what I think is a cool sound at low speed when the blades cut through the air when turning in variable wind conditions. Some may find it irritating, but it goes away in steady wind. Make sure to size your wiring properly… you’re gonna be pushing 30 amps in high winds!

Wind turbine looks great. Doesn’t have a good output. 10 amps at 65 km winds. Should be at least double that. 400 watts….not!!!!
