Panel output is as stated and charges battery alone (I purchased a spare battery) or keeping the cooler running longer without swapping battery.

I’ve used it to charge my refrigerator, but there is no USB port with this solar panel. I looked all over, there is none, and there’s no directions in the manual about using a USB port.

I had originally purchased a 100 watt folding panel from Acopower. It worked well and was great, for awhile. Suddenly it appeared that only 2/3 power was being produced. As I took readings and covered each panel separately I found that one panel had failed in the set. I contacted Acopower and after much back-and-forth with emails, after they had to confirm that I was facing it towards the sun, etc.,, they replaced it with a 90W Folding panel.
This worked for awhile too. Then suddenly I was only getting about a third of the watts from the panels.
I’m very careful with the panels and have a special padded case that I keep them in when traveling.
I do use them in hot situations in the desert and have noticed that the panels tend to “bow” a fair amount when they get warm. I am using the stands that are attached but I wonder if the panels need a little stronger backing to keep them flat. I don’t know if this would solve the problem of them failing.
Now I have two folding panels that don’t work as they should.

So I bought the LiONCooler on indiegogo, but I had to get the extra battery and solar panel.
I took it out this weekend to the river (Colorado River in Blythe, CA) My friends at first made fun of me because it needed a battery to work, but when it outlasted their expensive ice coolers by not having to go buy more ice and everything was dry, they started asking where did I get it and how can they get one. I didnt even need another battery until the end of the day! The next day I used the solar panels and forgot about having to change the battery.
By far the best cooler I have ever had!!!
