   5/15/17 I hooked this up on 4/2/17 it has yet to reach 12v. today it reach 11.7, the first two weeks i had a Schumacher spc-7a-12v Solar Charger control and i only got 11.5 out of it so i took off the controler and got just 11.7 note: my 60 year old tricker charger takes that same battery from 11v. to 12.5 in about 2hrs. with just my meter on the panel it was reading 19vdc. in the shade hooked to the battery 11.7 …

   It makes a voltage signal, yes.
   Is it enough to tell if it actually is keeping the battery at a higher rate of charge? Than not using it at all?
   Too hard to know.
   Planning to move up to a much larger Solar CHARGER system.
   Hoping to see a difference on the volt meter.

   Cheap and keeps the battery up on a vehicle that doesn’t get driven very often. Great buy. Definitely recommend.

   The Schumacher Solar charger has been great for cars that are not used often. It helps keep very old batteries around longer.
