Works great for charging phones or tablets. Plugged laptop in and it would not power it. Also would not power a straightener while traveling, not even a mini straightener.

A wonderful idea for charging devices. It is very easy to use, but it takes forever to solar charge it. The quality is great, portable, and when it works, it works, but mine stopped. The AC is out of wack. . . Too badddddd.

It is small and I bought it to keep my phone and tablet charged (while I use my larger power station for all of my other devices). I have not yet used the solar panels so I cannot vouch for that. However, it seemed to full charge via ac just fine and is working. No problems.

I love the power bank, portable, lightweight, multi functional. The 40 watt solar charger however is another story. mid morning upon delivery, I put the solar panel in bright, direct sunlight on a cloudless day and the power bank registered being charged at nearly 75%. At 8pm, still daylight (northern hemisphere in summer) positioned in direct sunlight the entire day, the power bank was still registering at nearly 75% without having been used whatsoever. The solar panel is simply not effective, maybe to charge a cell phone, but not this power bank, that’s for sure. I don’t want to spend more money to buy a 100 watt panel after shelling out for this combo package.

Got this for my hurricane kit – to power my laptop and phone and a 4-watt LED light (equivalent to 60 watt incandecent), if needed. Did a quick test – it came with the battery 75% charged. I discharged it by putting a single old-fashioned 60-watt light on it. Took almost 3 hours to disharge (the light went off, and the fan in the unit powered down). I then put the solar panel in the sun. Took 4 hours to fully charge the battery (I live in south Florida). Then put two 60-watt lights (120w total) on the battery. They ran for over 2 hours minutes (135 min total). That’s a total of 270 watt/hours. It’s rated at 200 Watt/hours, so that means it more than meets the grade. It won’t power a frige or A/C (another reviewer gave it a 1-star because it couldn’t power his refrigerator – lol), but it does have the power rating that it says it has.

I appreciate the fact that it is simple and convenient and gets to the need the solar panel is reliable to keep a steady flow but I’ve yet to find it increase the percentage of battery life but it maintains the level during the Sun and not even in the sun sometimes it’s still contracts solar radar to say the most I’m satisfied thus far
