Great buy for my pops electric scooter to keep the 60 v batteries charged in the sunlight taking it to a new level . Recommend buy .🤙😉

Bought to replace the original one that came with the light due to damage. Works amazing. So far this has been better than the original.

Dislikes: only complaints are:
#1. The solar panel is glued to the plastic support that holds it. I would have preferred it was detachable, as I wanted to add a few more support holes for screws to hold the bracket firm to the wall and mount it horizontally, not vertical with only 1 screw holding it in place like a hanging portrait picture frame.
#2. The support legs that are locked down in place, DO NOT LOCK in place when used, allowing the solar panel support legs to collapse on any small movement.
Other than that, voltage output in full sun is actually around 13.2VDC, which ran a small 12VDC brushless fan used to exhaust heat from an outside enclosure that gets extremely hot [electronic equipment inside enclosure] when equipment is/isn’t in use in the hot Florida sun .
I built a test circuit that will allow the exhaust fan to run from this solar panel during daylight hours, then switch over to a 12VDC adapter if not enough light to keep a 12VDC SPDT switching relay energized.
Not enough light, clouds, shadows, or night the Solar Panel disconnects, and allows only the 120VAC input-> 12VDC 2A output to run the fan. Have a bi-color [red/green] L.E.D. that lights green when in Solar Mode and Red when in DC adapter mode. So I know at a glance what power type is running the fan. Overnight is always red of course, as no light on the solar panel to energize the relay is adapter mode.
The solar panel works 100% for what I purchased it for, so far it has been very reliable. Just wish I could have mounted it horizontal due to where I had to place it, vertical isn’t a good mounting position.
The solar panel has some white framing around the actual panel that is above the plastic holding/mounting frame.
I’m considering drilling holes in these areas so I can mount the solar panel higher, and horizontal, which is best suited for where it is mounted.
If I do try this, I’ll update this review to let folks know if my doing this did any damage to the solar panel array.
Yes, I can recommend this solar panel, it does a good job, was as described, works reliably, and would be a good solar panel for a hobbyist to experiment with.

It’s a low power solar panel but it does work. If you use a decent controller there shouldn’t be any issue.

Small and very, very, very, very frail.

I just built a metal shed with a dark brown roof. Hot days with full sun makes the temperature inside unbearable. I mounted a 2.4W 12vdc fan inside the far wall. I bought this solar panel because it is rated at 12vdc and 6W. It does not seem to run my fan at full speed even with the the panel aimed directly at the summer sun. It does work however. Fortunately the fan can tolerate the reduced output as the sun moves through the sky. I just ordered a second one so I can wire them together to catch the sun all day. The really long cord is one of the features that persuaded me to purchase this product. It easily reaches from the roof to the fan.
Update: 2nd one installed to supplement power the 1st one provides. I mounted them on an angled support such that one catches the morning sun, both catch the midday sun and the 2nd catches the late afternoon sun. I also attached to the roof so the stormy winds cannot blow them away.

I received the first panel and tested it. Zero output voltage. Returned it and received a replacement. It did product 12 volts as it should. Connected it to a small load and it immediately died with zero output voltage or current. Disconnected the small load and the panel does not produce any voltage or current. This was done in full sunlight.
Do not buy…

Maintaining our spa at temp with the AC powered equipment was doubling my electric bill!
I’m assembling an “off grid” method of heating my spa water using a portable propane hot water heater.
This solar panel and a regulator will replace the batteries used to supply voltage to the igniter on the portable heater AND the 200 watt solar array I installed will power the recirculating pump to maintain the water temp.
