The back of the panels says the open circuit voltage is 14.4 Vdc. Today I have a hazy sky and my other house panels are reading full voltage. This device is only reading 10.7vdc with no load. That is not enough to charge or power a 12vdc battery. It come with a nice 14 ft long cable that has two DC Power Jack Adapter Connectors on the end of the cable.
I will update this after a few days of testing with full sunlight.
OH, it’s a solar panel, it does NOT consume power, it produces it and the description on this page is incorrect, it is NOT battery powered, there is no battery in the panel. I expected the open circuit voltage to be closer to the normal 18vdc for a “12vdc” type panel used for charging 12vdc batteries and circuits.
I won’t be buying another on of these.
Update: Had good bright sunshine starting at noon today. The very best this panel produced with NO LOAD connected was 11.8VDC as measured with my Fluke meter. This panel is trash, it does not produce enough voltage to even reach the normal voltage of a 12 volt battery let alone try to trickle charge it.
No good, do not buy!!

They use more power than they produce.

Would never Recomend these pannels recieved, tested, returned. the minute you buy a solar panel test voltage in normal sunlight. In order to get a good charge on a 12v 750 cca battery you should have 16-to 30 volts+ at pannel output. you will need a cheap charge controler or a diode soldered inline to prevent feedback at night draining youre battery. I dont recomend buying any panel that will not supply open circuit voltage over 20+VDC recomend up to 30v. Many dont have a clue and get took !

Similar to another reviewer, I never saw more than 11V with two of these panels in parallel. With a simple PWM controller on a 12v flooded lead acid battery, these panels wouldn’t produce any useful result.
Since I had two, I wired them in series, and now I am seeing 13.5V at 1.3A in full, direct sunlight–less than a single panel claims to produce.
Oh well, I bought these exact panels because of the limited space I had to mount an array–I’ll keep them just because they fill the space and help charge the battery a little. If you don’t need these exact dimensions, find any other product.
