Work well once soldered properly

Used one already – works fine. I had a cheap, under-powered toy solar car and replaced a much smaller panel with one of these. Car will run on rough asphalt where it stalled before and even climbs hills now.

I would like ot use these to make stuff out of them

Only in intense lighting can 3 volts be achieved and at best of 5 cells, 45ma.
Expect 1.8 volts at 34ma under overcast sky.
I have also tested much smaller cells 45mm x 45mm with same lighting and achieved a similar reduced capacity.
It would appear a good rule of thumb to half the voltage and current claimed when sizing a suitable cell.

Alittle displeased witht he output on these, requires very strong sunlight to get any power out of it, strong indoor lighting produces about 50% of listed power. Ok, i can double up on the cells. I will try another model next time, rather have 50% greater surface area than have to double up.

Added to an outside solar light installation provided sufficient boost to the charging in winter to allow effective 24hour operation
