Sfoanna –
ordered one for my kid’s science project. one of the solder joints broke off and made the panel unuseable, so I ordered another so we could finish the experiments. In the meantime, while waiting the new one, i put electrical tape on the connection, and it worked again. So these work, but I would be pretty careful. admittedly, this is my first experience with solar panels.

Need for science experiment works great

Product worked well for science fair project. The positive lead fell off with very minor handling, and needed to solder it back on.

Red wire detached. Bought for a science project requiring 6v. Tried a different one that was only 5v and it was much more durable and worked better. Seems to be faulty as multiple people have complained about the same issue.

It was dead when I got it.

The ratings (6V 150 mA) are correct. That wasn’t enough to light a standard flashlight bulb, and it wasn’t impressive connected to a LED (I knew that before I bought it, but was hoping to get lucky). The leads are soldered to the back, and I broke one off almost immediately. I recommend that the first thing you do after opening the box is to slap a big piece of tape across the wires in back, so that jerking a wire won’t break it off.
The Sunnytech 2w 6v 330ma solar cell is about twice as large, would make my devices work, and costs a little less; but lacks the connecting wires; you have to figure out how to attach wires to the small bumps on the back. The extra $2 might be worth avoiding the hassle if you don’t need much power.

Bought for my son’s science fair project. Simply unclipping the alligator clip caused the red wire to detach from the alligator clip after the second use. Not sure if I have the equipment to fix it and unfortunately I purchased more than a month ago so I cannot return it.
