I bought this panel to augment my two 190 watt solar panels on my RV. I bought this particular solar panel because of it’s lightweight and portability. The first time out it developed white blisters on several of the cells and quit producing power. Before I disconnected the panel, it drained my entire set of RV batteries. (I have four 100 amp lithium iron phosphorus batteries) and stopped all DC power. Boondocking without AC or DC is no fun. I had to fold up and go home.
I have tried to contact Shinegiant, but have not been successful at this time.
I will augment my review depending on Shinegiant’s response.
Right now I could not recommend this Shinegiant solar panel to anyone
Addendum: After writing this review, Shinegiant via Amazon offered me a full refund of the purchase price. I accepted. Furthermore, due to the other positive reviews (assuming I received a lemon), I have reordered this same product. I love the weight and portability of this solar panel. Thanks to Amazon customer service for their promp and courteous handling of this matter.

After about a month of testing this panel with my Goal Zero Yetis, I am very impressed! It is very efficient, where I have seen a peak input of 195 W at times, but certainly an average of about 170 W off of my roof in peak hours on ideal days. The efficiency is incredible for how light and portable this panel is. Another plus for the compatibility of this panel, with the multi-connector cable. I would highly recommend this for a portable charging setup. My specific use case is camping, which I’ve done a few times; I have tested it more at home, off of my roof.

Works really well on my ecoflow generator and the fold away design makes it easy to store and light weight.

Excellent design packaging set up in my living room only have yet to deploy in the field however I expect that they will operate just fine and I will update my review as a necessary. Excellent value and looking forward to it.

I’m pulling 148 watts into my Bluetti EB3A at the imperfect sun angle at the time of the picture. I’ve seen it hit 157watts while it was lying flat in the mid Aug CA sun @ 2pm. The EB3A is amp limited to 8-8.5a so that is why you’d never pull more with this combo. The VoC showed about 22.5v and 18.25v closed circuit. My guess is they are wired in parallel and series as shading the end panel will kill 1/4 output, but the end two panels tucked under will kill it all.
It was nice for it to come with a multi-connector but I would have liked to have seen an SAE connector among them– maybe even alligator clamps. The product seemed surprisingly well put together and from what I understand, much lighter than competing panels. It looks really great folded up. I scored it for about two hundred bones after the coupon.
I knew using the angle legs would be a flimsy ordeal but a complete oversight was that the large flap w/ velcro (visible in the thumbnail of the product) will blow over in the wind and kill output. If you tuck the flap behind you will find the flap interfere with that section’s leg. The flap should have been cut smaller as to not interfere. Not a big deal (and no problem while lying flat) but enough to lose a star.

I just bought a second one. I like that it sets up and folds down very quickly and without fuss. I’ve had the first one for about 8 months and no issues. Did buy a longer connector cable because the one it shipped with is very short and doesn’t reach into my van where I need it to! Solid product.

It said they could plug into the camper outlet. I bought the thing from Harbor Freight that reverses the wiring since the Aliner outlet is, for whatever reason, reversed to the way solar panels are wired and I sm NOT buying the same solar kit for triple the price from Aliner. That being said this kit had no way of plugging into that outlet even with adapters. I don’t want to open the battery box and charge it that way. I returned it. It’s unfortunate because I loved it for size and portability. I want one like that for campgrounds with no power hookups at least we could have lights. I gave it three stars for portability. Couldn’t go highet because I couldn’t use them.

I can’t think of anything to dislike about this Solar Panel. Light weight / Comes complete with cables / Folds compactly for transport or storage / Well made The best part is that it works very well.
