This is my first solar panel so I don’t have a setup to measure power output. I used this on a week-long camping trip to keep my large 40000mAh battery pack charged up as I used that to recharge all my other devices when they need it (camera, phone, lights, etc). So it was great that this panel had USB outputs in addition to it’s standard outputs. The sun was quite strong where I stayed in the California mountains and the panel had no problem directly charging both my phone and the battery pack and I was never without power. The panel is big, but folds up nicely. The stands are a little bit troublesome to set up with just one person because if they slip and fold back up, they’ll velcro themselves shut. The exterior of the panels is fabric which is better than hard plastic but our campground was very dusty so it got dirty easily. Overall, I was very happy with this and glad that I never had to worry about running out of power.

We live in a fairly rural area that is heavily wooded, so it’s not uncommon for our power to go out for an hour or two, even when there’s no bad weather in the area.
I got tired of using a standard battery back-up that only lasted about 20 minutes, so I purchased a power station that’s 1280wh to run a 4- computer/monitor set-up for my work, plus a hotspot router, a fan and a lamp, just for short term power outages when it’s not worth going to fire up the back-up generator.
I got this solar charger panel to easily deploy when I need to extend the run time on the power station and since the computers, monitor and devices draw around 200 watts, this panel will pretty much keep it topped off in bright sunlight. On a cloudy day, it extends the time from 5 hours to 11, so more than doubling the time.
I built a three angle chocks out of 2 x 4’s to be able to set it up in a hurry and then I just run the cables through a window, close it with a small gap at the bottom and plug into the power station and it’s good to go. When the power comes back on, it only takes about 5 minutes to unhook, fold the panel up, carry it inside and store it away.
It’s a good deal because I paid almost as much for two 100 watt solar panels with no accessories or mounting attachments, so in comparison, this is better value, especially since it’s portable and folds up to easily take with you.
It would be great for a day at the beach, camping or tailgating, to be able to set it up in the bed of the truck and use the power station for a TV, radio, microwave, beverage cooler, food warmer or a blender and recharge charge it between uses.
It was also shipped and received fast, so no complaints there.
So far, so good and I will update my review going forward if I encounter any long-term use issue with it. 5- Stars!

I have a small 100w portable power bank. It works well to recharge my phone and laptop when we’re out in the RV. With this solar panel I can now recharge the power bank. It took it from 0 to full in about 2.5 hrs (I didn’t time it). It also charged my phone directly using the included C charging cord which plugs into a port on the panels. My power pack is too small to power household appliances but when I looked at the larger Patriot solar generators, this is the same panel they give you “free” with them. We are looking for larger generator that we can use with this panel. For the time being it will at least be great for keeping my smalle one charged.

My old 200w panels are starting to lose their efficiency and topping out at 110w, so I thought I’d replace them. I got this panel and another identical panel by another manufacturer. This one got up to 70w and went down to 50w after a few minutes in the sun. The other got 15w. My old panels in the same spot still got over 100w, so I’m returning these for a refund. Don’t waste your time.

We had some decent sun today (at times) but a good portion of the day was hazy/cloudy. Using my 800w bifacial array as a barometer I checked things when it peaked at 817w and this panel was doing 185w into my Anker Solix C1000. This is a pretty solid output and outperformed a 200w rigid panel I was also testing.
It’s nice to see some USB ports on the junction box as they’re handy to just set it up and charge some basic equipment like phones, radios etc w/o having to deal with a charge controller/battery etc.
Construction felt decent with a nice cloth wrap but have a bit of a concern with cloth as it tends to get torn moving around on rough surfaces and being almost 8 feet long you’re going to have some sliding to do to get it setup if you don’t have someone helping you.
Kickstand feet are retained with velcro and have double elastic limiters. Center folding portion is also retained with velcro to keep it folded. There is a magnetic latch system in the handle which felt a bit inadequate to maintain the closure but not a big issue.
Overall a decent panel, just be ready for ~19 lbs and 8 feet of length. Avoid gripping the top edge when adjusting and cup under the kickstands instead or even better, get a helper.
Some things I think can be improved:
Kickstand does not allow panel to tilt back enough, limits to about 45 degrees which is not a low enough angle to properly use in the summer in most parts of North America. It would be nice to see this adjustable down to 20-25 degrees. I’d think some sort of light aluminum tubing legs which can extend/collapse would work… I ended up just leaning it against a long curb section but finding something to support 8 feet of panel might be a bit annoying.
Silkscreen the specifications to the inner handle. It’s very important to know your panel Voc etc and having these handily printed on the handle would be great. (I printed a pTouch label and attached the info and recommend you do this)
Reinforcement/different material needed to prevent abrasion damage from sliding on rough surfaces. Cloth wraps can get damaged quite quickly setting these up.
A built-in sun alignment tool in the handle would be a nice-to-have.
Panel specifications listed in the manual (Did not see these in the current listing): VMP: 20.16v IMP: 9.92A VOC: 24.3v ISC: 10.5A
