While out camping, I was in need of a portable solar panel to charge my power station. I came across this beast, and jumped on it. Since I have a different brand of power station, I wanted to make sure there was an adapter that would fit. The listing and pictures show there is an added Solar Connector MC-4 to 3 (XT60, DC5521, Anderson) Cable, but like the other reviews have stated, this was never received, and you will need to purchase your own adapter.
Be forewarned, this solar panel is large and heavy. Setup was easy, but the legs seems to be a bit flimsy, and with elastic straps, you can’t adjust the angle. With the weight of this, an added carrying case would be a plus. At the price of this, and the missing adapter, I would look elsewhere.
Update: I reached out to the company about the cable adapter. They informed me, it does come with the solar panel, but you have to add it at checkout. They were able to send one out to me. I found that none of the plug adapters worked in a Jackery, so I still had to purchase my own adapter cable.

This solar panel kit is very easy to set up and it generates quite a bit of power for its size. I have brought it camping a couple times now and it has really made a difference in what I’m able to use when I’m camping. It’s very convenient and now i can stay off grid for a while as long as the forecast is good. I highly recommend this solar panel for anyone looking to take the next step in their camping experience!

Did my research on what was available and at what cost. I settled on this unit because of specs and customer reviews. the unit arrived in good shape with one slight problem, there was a part missing. I contacted the customer service department and they had the missing part delivered within a few business days. this is a nice solar panel, a little heavy, but in my opinion, that is more of an indication of durability. I like the unit but have not used it extensively yet, just testing it in my RV and charging the batteries. From all indications, it will be a quality unit for some time to come.

I’ve been teaching myself how to build a solar power system so I can install one in my campervan and possibly in my tiny home. This portable solar panel is a great start. It hooked up very easily to my power banks to create a very beginner-level solar system. I’m going to go the next step and I’m going to get batteries and a controller to build a system from the ground up. One thing to consider with this panel is that it’s pretty heavy so the term portable is relative. I do really like that it has a built in cordura case with a handle – it makes it very easy to tote it around. I’m not an expert, but this seems like a really good solar panel.

I bought this for my husband’s portable generator. He uses a cpap machine for severe sleep apnea so he needs to have a way to run it if the power goes out. I thought this would be a good way to recharge the power station in case we are without power for a few days. It’s very easy to use and even includes a few different options for power cords. Simply lay it in the sun and it starts to convert the light into power. It unfolds into sections, but it’s sturdy enough that you can prop it up or adjust the angle to get the most exposure. I will be honest and say that it takes longer to charge it with the sun compared to a wall socket, but that is to be expected. I can also charge my phone and tablet if I need to. It’s a great idea for a homestead or for camping as well.
