First time using it yesterday. Easy set up, runs awesome, quality materials, really happy with the decision to buy.

I use this as a supplement to my RVs roof mounted solar panels. Since I have a residential refrigerator, I need extra power to run it, and this does the trick!

We used this suitcase on our last camping trip in winter of 2022 which was 8,000 miles over 2 months. I also brought a 2,000 watt gasoline powered generator but never used it, these panels were enough. I added a 20 foot extension cord so I can get sun while the camper is in the shade. I don’t usually write reviews but I was so impressed I think Renogy deserves some credit. They actually put out 202 watts on super sunny days when I angled them perpendicular to the sun. Only thing is they are heavier than I expected. In the future I’m planning on mounting these permanently on my house and getting a much lighter weight solar suitcase for the camper.

I did a lot of research before I chose this one. In fact, I liked it so much I bought six. I think they’re currently the best hard solar panel suitcase for the money. They come with a very nice hard zippered cover and the adjustable brace design is very sturdy. However there’s room for improvement. First of all these panels are pretty heavy at about 38 lbs each. Surely there must be a way to lighten them up to save on materials and manufacturing cost (and don’t call me Shirly). Secondly it would be nice if the controller had a built-in USB port so a small device could be charged without wiring up the rig. Otherwise there is no better deal out there for a 200w hard solar panel suitcase. Just make sure to tighten all the nuts and bolts that shake loose during shipping.

The combo of features at the price is unbeatable. The 200 watt suitcase solar panel is heavy, but that’s expected for quality glass panels that size. I love the protective case which doesn’t add bulk and makes it easier to pack. The solar charge controller is easy to understand and program. Thanks for that!
An upgrade option to MPPT would be nice.
I had one or two loose bolts.
The legs will hit the frame near the pivot points, so care must be taken when setting the tilt angle.
A tiedown point for windy conditions would be nice.
Overall very nice, and I believe I’ll be getting many years of use.

Used this product for three weeks hunting kept RV batteries fully charged the whole time. Lights and furnace used constantly. Never had to start generator.
Only gripe is packaging was poor and the fuse case melted and had to be replaced with A heavier wire. I’m hearing that this is a problem. Would be nice if it was taken care of before it was sent.

Easy and effective combination. Love how this unit comes ready to go to work.

The second unit I got appears to be working just fine. ALERT: Even though it comes with a 20Amp charge controller, you won’t get 20A, maybe around 12 tops. To set this up is very easy but remember to disconnect the controller from the panels before connecting to the battery. The reconnect to the panels as the last step.

Just used for the first time this past week, easy setup and kept my battery topped off.

I bought this along with a gel hybrid 100ah battery. Huge improvement! I was pulling in 8-10amps during sunny conditions. I could run my cpap and in the morning, as long as the sun was up before I was, I woke to a full battery. I could run my little 400w inverter to power my laptop or rv with no troubles.
