No way this is a 200 watt solar set up.. Maybe 2 watts. Did not even charge a cellphone lrleft in full sun all day. Don’t waste your money or time. It’s junk.

Do NOT buy! This is false advertising. It is NOT 200w. Maybe 20w. But definitely not 200w. Scam . Discus with spouse or someone you trust if something seems to good to be true BEFORE you buy. It may reduce teasing and Gas Lighting over the purchase.

I didnt like that the specs were as it claims in the add . It claims to be a 100 watt solar panel when running at peak efficiency and during peak sunshine. But on the positive side the controller is an absolute for any solar setup (thats included) and the fact that its practically plug and play is amazing.

i press the menu button and nothing happens. i tried plugging the solar panel into the unit but nothing happened, no matter which way i had it plugged in. had to strip the wires in the solar adapter connector to make sure it fit into the screw terminals which is the worst design possible for a unit like this. wires were not clearly marked as to plus and minus. i assumed the wire with the long lines were the negative, but you never know. am i supposed to charge this first? how? the adapters given do nothing to help. output only, no input connection to charge. unit only has screw in terminals for most functions. i haven’t been able to use it for anything.
useless. and that includes the instructions give me my money back

The panel is very small and the box to connect to the battery was cheap plastic. Although there were many charging /connection cables there wasn’t a cord to charge apple products. This product was not the solar panel we need to power / charge the things we require when at our camp. As the saying goes you get what you pay for. We are returning it unused

Just starting to get into solar power system on my outdoor kitchen. This product shows how much energy I am receiving. Will need a battery and inverter to have operational system

Quality of the panels seems good, controller ditto. The wires you could use to hook up the controller are a single wire, not even 20 gauge. Maximum power as rated, for the whole kit is 30 watts, not 200! So the output is a big DAMNED LIE! If this were a legal document it would be perjury, and that is criminal. Seems good enough for the most part, for what it is, but it is definitely not what it says it is!
Okay. I ordered another one of these “200 watt” kits and it does not even match the photo on Amazon’s web page. There was only one panel in the box, and it was SQUARE, not rectangular at all, and it is very definitely not the kit shown on Amazon’s page! And while the box claims it to be a 200 watt kit, it is absolutely not anywhere near that! It would be lucky to be a FIFTEEN WATT kit! The panel shows an output of five volts, and a MAXIMUM output of three amperes! That would be a flat out maximum of 15 watts! My cell phones take 5.2 volts at 3.1 amps, so this kit won’t even charge one of my cell phones at its intended rate! I returned that kit. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! It is not as advertised at all! This should be a class action lawsuit against Amazon!
