2 reviews for 2W 12V Solar Panel DIY Battery Solar Charger Board + Tiger Clip- Perfect for Outdoor Charging Batteries and Low-Power Electronic Products
Rated 4 out of 5
Micheal S. –
Good little panel for tinkering, small projects, and solar experiments. The alligator clips keep connections simple but probably won’t hold up to much vibration. Voltage output in full sun is enough to top off smaller 12v batteries but will not keep up with any kind of substantial draw. Keep in mind (as I initially did not) that there is no blocking diode to prevent discharge/reverse draw, so it will actually drain a battery in darkness unless you add that yourself.

This little solar cell does pretty well for its small size. (4.375 x 5.5″) In full (winter) sun, it put out 15 volts and 151 mA. This amounts to a bit over its advertised power of 2 watts (2.2-2.3). Less-full sun produced about half that in mA.

Overarll, it performs as advertised.
