I am very happy with my 48v inverter/charger. It sits in front of 16, 200ah RENOGY gel batteries and powers our cabin nicely.

I happened across this Renogy AiO and thought I would give it a try because the inverter I already had needed additional items and panels. It works great with my 4 panels in series. I have my whole set up off-grid at the moment. It sits in front of an EG4 5KWh battery and charges it without issue. No communication setup needed. I also have light at night in the shed and fans run in the day time. It even runs a space heater without issue. Great set up for sheds or garages.
Pros:
-Straight plug-n-play out of the box
-120V output with no extra items needed
-Easy to use screen
-Multiple Features for output and input of energy
-Low start-up voltage to start charging.
-Relatively lightweight
-Beginner Friendly
-Easy to read manual
Cons:
-3500W only PV input of 145V max
-Inputs for PV panels, AC Input, and AC Output could be sturdier and more secure. I ended up putting ferrules on my tips for the PV.

Thee only thing I did not catch was that does not have a battery temp sensor and low temp charging cutoff. A bummer if you have older or cheaper lithium batteries without that feature built in.

Works perfect easy to install i would defiantly recommenr to anyone who wants a 48 volt system

This product is amazing. I paired it with 4 200ah ham batteries and 4 residential panels for an off grid solution for my trailer. It works seamlessly and will even run a 15k ac unit. Love it and haven’t used my generator for a month.

We upgraded to this from a 12v system, took it out the desert, and was epic. Ran great, worked well. Liked it so much we got a second for a solar power trailer build.
Issues:
– The PV inputs are on a terminal block that is undersized. We are upgrading to 535w panels which NEC says system is 50A in and that’s 8AWG cables to the charger. We had a hard time getting 10AWG cables to fit and not sure how we will connect the larger gauge wire without changing out the internal block. This system is 99% there and works great, just need to follow NEC on the PV inputs.
– The BT unit does not work with this system, can’t get it to setup correctly to talk to this system.
