When I’m not working, I spend a lot of my spare time outdoors. I like to go camping, to the beach, the park, hang in my yard for cookouts and movie nights. I also like to be prepared for a power outage or emergency. I own a bunch of different solar panels, power stations, power banks, etc. of all different sizes and capacities. I love portable power. When I came across this unit and saw the 48w output, I had to try it. The description was a little confusing. It says the USB-C port is 5v 2.4a, which would be 12w. It also states the USB-A port is 5v 2.4a (12w) but then also states QC 3.0. which would be 5v 3a 18w. After using this, I was happy to see that I was able to pull 18 watts from both USB ports. I liked that this unit included a DC output. You can’t use the DC output while using the USB ports. The DC port is rated 24v 2a, and thats how they came up with a 48w solar panel. Having a DC port usually comes in really handy for my 12v devices. The problem is they decided to make this DC port 24v 2a 48w instead of 12v 4a 48w. Quite a bit of my vehicle adapters are 12v to 24v, so at least I can still power some of my DC devices. In full sun, my adapter was showing 22.6v. Most of my solar panels like this came 12v DC ports. I’m not deducting a star for this because I knew what I was getting when I ordered it. I read the description beforehand. They state that this has an IP67 waterproof rating, but I highly doubt that. All 3 ports are wide open and uncovered. You can only use these panels when they are fully extended. I have others that allow you to use it while folded but deliver less power. With the negative out of the way, there is a lot of positive. I am glad I was able to get 3 amps out of the USB ports instead of the stated 2.4 amps. These panels are solid and really well made. When extended, they are long, but when closed, it’s pretty compact, like the size of a tablet. I like that when the panels are closed, there are buttons to snap it into place. I also like the grommets and carbiner clips so you can hang it or attach them to your bag while hiking. I like that it is sturdy, so you can stand it up or lay it flat. I also use this on my dashboard of my work vehicle to charge my phone. My work vehicle does not have any power outlets. I like having this in my car just in case my car and phone batteries die at the same time. I like that they included a DC port even if it is 24v. I have a couple of Samsung adapters. One of them is a super fast charger that is compatible with the 24v DC port, and it allows me to super fast charge my phone from this panel. I would’ve liked a few things to be clearer in the description, and there are a couple of things I would have liked to see differently, but overall, I’m glad I got this. I really like the build quality.

The 30W Solar Panel Charger by NURZVIY, is a great way to bring an energy creating device that can easily provide power where there isn’t any. With its small foldable design, decent power generations and convenient double output, this is a worthy consideration. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.
I. Quality – This device looks and feels like it’s fairly well made. It’s sturdy and durable for a solar panel, but also lacks any high end appearance to it.
II. Performance – The foldability and travel aspects to this charger are great and well done. It can easily be taken along for a hiking or camping trip and is about the size of a larger tablet. It offers three power port that can charge decently, the USB-A and C are going to be slower at only 5V/2.4A. You’ll need to plug into the DC port to obtain the higher rate of charge of 24V. If pointed directly with a clear view of the sun, I’m getting close to 30W with a consistent flow of energy. It’s very convenient to plug directly into this device without the need for other devices to control the flow of energy. My only real dislike is the lack of any kind of kickstand to hold it up. Frequently, the sun is off to the side and not directly overhead, requiring some kind of kickstand or object to lean it against. The fact that this device doesn’t provide anything for this problem, can be annoying and problematic at times.
Overall, this is a very handy and useful device that has been extremely helpful for hiking and camping providing some very needed juice for my devices. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.
If you’d find it helpful to see a visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen or landscape. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well it’s a video!
You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.

Turned out to be a decent solar panel. I primarily got this for off-grid camping, but it’s also useful to have around home or in the car for emergencies.
While this is a decent solar panel, don’t expect it to charge like a wall outlet. I’m definitely not an expert on solar panels, but I do know that even in direct sunlight, this doesn’t charge as fast as a wall outlet. I’ll let the more knowledgeable people get into all the wattage and amperage stuff, but for me, I just need it to work.
When camping, I plug a battery pack into this and let it charge throughout the day. Of course, cloud coverage is going to make a difference. If it’s a bright sunny day I get a much faster charge. If there’s some cloud coverage, it’s really slow. But that’s to be expected.
As for the build quality, it seems pretty durable and well made. It actually folds up relatively compact, but not sure if I was on a long range hike that I’d want to take it along. But I do keep it in my emergency bag that I keep in the car whenever traveling. You never know when you’re going to be stranded somewhere and need some power to recharge your phone so you can make an emergency call. Or, you never know when a storm will hit and knock out your power. It’s just a good item to have as another source for making sure you can still utilize your phone, radio, flashlight, or whatever you need to charge.
Overall I’m pretty happy with it. Again, I’m no expert and I just use things that work. And, this does work. But you just have to understand its limitations. I like the design and portability, and I hope it lasts a long time. I know it has a water resistant rating, but I personally wouldn’t leave it in the rain. Besides, if it’s raining, it probably won’t be charging anyway.
