Description
- Efficient Output Power – 50 watt solar panels, according to the direct sunlight for 5-6 hours under the condition of clear weather every day, can provide 250-300 Wh or 20.8-25 Ah of electricity every day.
- Suitable for Multiple Scenarios – Ideal for 12V off-grid applications, including RVs, rooftops, cabins, yachts, homes, fences, greenhouse, etc. If you need to charge the 24V/48V battery, you can connect multiple solar panels in series. (Our connection port is the universal MC4 connector on the market).
- Strong and Long Service Life – Built with strong low iron-tempered glass and aluminum frame, Withstand high winds (2400Pa) and snow loads (5400Pa), Waterproof: IP67, Temperature: -40°F to +185°F. Corrosion-resistant aluminum frame for extended outdoor use, allowing the panels to last for decades.
- Easy Installation – Pre-drilled holes on the back of panels for fast mounting and securing, Suitable for most solar panel fixing brackets on the market.
- Perfect After-Sales Service – Each of our solar panels is testing inspected before leaving the factory to ensure flawlessness, and you can rest assured to buy. In case of any damage, you can contact us, and we will solve the problem for you in time.

I needed something to keep the portable generator battery that runs my home during power outage fully charged. I leave the power on and plugged in because it has remote start. This way during the cold winter and snowy nights I can start this from inside and trust the battery is fully charged.
I have the control unit under a roof so it stays dry. The solar is on that roof and I will end up having it off the roof soon so the snow does not over power it.
This works really well and after year it is holding up and doing exactly what it is suppose to do. It is just enough wattage and you could use the USB for small charges but I have not used that yet.

Update 7/26/24 – Sunsul customer service reached out to me after I wrote my review. They ended up sending me a new solar panel and regulator, received it a few days ago. Appreciate them standing behind their product! Have not used it yet but bumping their rating up to 4 simply because of their customer service. Original review – Worked fine for about 10-12 weeks then I noticed that the lights on the regulator were no longer working and it was no longer charging my battery. A few days later I noticed that the wires from the panel to the regulator were melted. Since it was past the 30 day return window I reached out to the company on the email that was included with the instructions but never received a reply from the company.
Don’t waste your money on this one, I am sure there are better options on Amazon.

The solar panel appears to be identical to others I’ve purchased, down to the termination in industry standard MC4 connectors. The controller appears to be identical but for slightly different labeling, to 4 other inexpensive PWM controllers I’ve purchased from other companies. Setting this kit apart is the generous, very flexible cabling, complete with tinned leads that insert into the controller ports plus the well-made battery clamps to connect to your storage battery. The controller instructions were a bit more obscure than others I’ve purchased, particularly in the area of determining which battery type you have. In general, the documentation could have been a lot better, especially for a first-time installer.
I can’t speak to performance compared to my other 12V panels from different sources because the inexpensive PWM controllers don’t show charging current or watts, but the panel seems to be hitting the target charging voltage in direct sunlight and the battery (deep cycle conventional marine – AKA “flooded” type) has come up to the correct voltage. If I don’t update this in a few weeks, I’m entirely pleased with it.

Bought two of them around 10 months ago, and they started to lose their charging capability for the past couple of months. In the beginning they were putting out 14.2 Volts and as of July, 2024 the output dropped to a total of 6.2 Volts; not enough to charge two Lithium batteries. Save your money, purchase a better quality solar panels.

This is an excellent solar panel. Charges my auxiliary camping battery without any problem.
Customer service is top notch, friendly and competent.
Will do business with this company again

In my short time with the product it seemed to work well for charging the battery and supplying power from it – however – whenever the charge controller was so much as hooked up to the battery, it emitted an significantly loud, very very high pitched sound. When charging or at any substantial discharge current, it got even louder.
This was over 10khz, so not everyone can even hear that – but it was loud enough to exacerbate tinnitus. I suspect the sound was even louder at ultrasonic or near-ultrasonic frequencies.
These kinds of sounds are usually caused by “coil while” of the inductors resonating at the switching frequency of a buck or boost converter, the most common way of changing DC voltage. High quality chargers will mitigate this either through physical design or intentionally-ultrasonic switching frequencies.
The sound, to me, was troublesome enough that it rendered the product effectively useless for an outdoor solar lighting project, as I could barely stand to be outside when this thing was plugged in.
It may be perfectly fine for you if you can’t hear high frequencies, or you’re installing in an unoccupied space.
I’ll note that the solar panel seemed to be able to apply some level of battery charge even when not in direct sunlight, which I found impressive. My sole issue was the audible noise.

this panel puts out some great voltage. I had a slight issue with my controller.i temporarily used a spare charge controller I had laying around and I am charging my 12v battery in no time at all. This solar panel comes with many plug options you may need to connect your power source.
Customer service immediately res
ponded back to me and no questions other than assuring it was plugged in correctly. And within 48 hours I had a new controller delivered. This solar panel is all I need to keep my batteries fully charged when I need them. No more plugging in to the costly grid

They definitely keep my batteries charged great deal for price
