Old Engineer –
First off, Allpower gets a solid 5 stars for customer support. The unit arrived undamaged (although the battery was totally discharged, requiring immediate recharge before it would turn on.) It had some issues, so I contacted them through the Amazon messaging system, and they responded quickly. We had a back-and-forth correspondence over several days while I was testing the unit, including over a weekend. Pretty sure they’re in Asia because all the responses came at night. They stuck with me, and when some of the problems turned out to be unfixable, they gave me a discount in return for keeping the unit rather than returning it, which I accepted.
In general the unit as delivered to me works as described except for two problems:
(1) the inverter produces 50 Hz power instead of the 60 Hz it was supposed to by default. This setting is fixed in the software for the US version and so could not be changed. (It was the US version I received, so this is apparently a software bug.) I can live with this because most loads I expect to use can handle 50 Hz power, although the output may need to be derated for larger ones.
(2) Discharge tests yielded only 450 to 490 Wh available versus the claimed 606 Wh. This is a significant limitation, and it may be due to another software issue. I was told by tech support that the unit stops discharging at 20% for AC loads but should discharge to 5% for DC loads. In fact mine shuts off shortly after an indicated 30% state of charge. (It goes from 30% to 20% very quickly and never gets anywhere near 5%.) There is no way to tell whether this is a mistake in the battery management system settings or the battery is just not as large as rated.
Without knowing whether these problems are endemic or just my particular sample, I’m reluctant to give it the 3 stars my unit may deserve , especially given the excellent support I received. It seems to be a very well built device with lots of nice features, e.g. the USB Power Delivery port and the Bluetooth monitoring app (which is primitive but very handy). Just be aware that at least my sample had some issues which they really need to get ironed out if it’s going to be a success in the US market.

Amazon Customer –
Worth every penny! When you get used to it, It is a must have for the price in emergency situation.

Bought for emergencies (hurricanes, power outages, etc.). Wanted to have a movable one to several day, source of electricity that could provide light, run/charge phones, computers, cable modem and wireless router. Hoped it could provide continuous power through a rolling outage situation. I have backup propane stove and heater for cooking and heating.
The following were concerns/ desired capabilities I had, which I was not sure were satisified from the listing, documentation and Amazons Q&A:
1. Coffee Maker – We have been without power for an extended period before, and I wanted to be able to brew a couple of cups of coffee. In the discussions, there is a rule of thumb that you could use an coffeepot if “ 500W and peak power is not more than 1000W”. Hard to find such a pot, for more than one user.
Amazon listing showed the following coffee maker was rated at 60 watts (seemed low to me, but I ordered one. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008YS1WXE?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
Documentation says it is rated at 650W, too high, but I tested it and it worked fine, draws 560 watts for a couple of minutes.
2. Charging time in Rolling Outages, vice one time event. Unit comes with a mains/house power charger, and also charges with DC (12v through car plug, 18V (?) from solar panel, and 60 watt from USB-C connector.
Bought this USB-C Power Distribution charger with 2 AC sockets: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09HBJ1Z96?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
Plugged the Power Stations AC cord into the charger’s AC socket and a provided USB-C cord into one of the charger’s USB-C ports and am charging twice as fast at 135 watts. This means in a rolling outage situation it will charge very fast, during the time power is available. Only takes one socket to attach the system to house power when recharging or living with rolling outages.
3. Panel to Generator/power station Cabling – Was concerned about the assortment of c les jacks and accessories to attach the solar panel to the Power Station, could not find in the listing or the documents for either the power station or the solar panel. Turned out to be simple. Panel cable tail connectors connect directly to the cable with the red and black plastic-covered-clip Anderson connector, intelligently designed so you can’t connect them wrong, the Anderson connector goes into the stations red and black Anderson port. Nice.
All good news to me.
Now I just need to put reminders in my calendar to use it and recharge every 3 months.

Product does not work. After letting the unit charge on 120v for 18 hours is never got past 99%. Then plugged in 12v fridge and solar panel. Solar panel in direct sunlight would do between 10-20w, advertised as 100w. Battery would work great from 99-60%. Solar would slowly charge at 10-20w and run the fridge till about 3pm every day. At 3pm the battery would get to 60% then 15 minutes later be completely dead. Recharged the battery one more time from 120v then battery stopped taking a charge all together. Solar didn’t work, 120v didn’t work, 12v didn’t work. Just stopped working. Also app is super glitchy. Connects great but if you walk away and comeback you have to close the program and re add the unit.
**revision, the product did not work, but customer service for the company is fantastic. They offered to replace the product or refund me.**

It has been working fine until it failed charging after 18 month of use. I have contacted the Allpowers support team to find a solution to fix it. They have sent me a new one to replace it. They are responsible and trustworthy.
