Cracking solar panel. Used to keep leisure battery topped up on my camper while at a festival. Battery was on max all the time! Fridge keeping the beers ice cold, lights on, tv on, ended up charging all my family’s devices for them.

This kit worked fine for a about 5 weeks and noticed a few days ago that the battery was not charging the input current was showing zero. The panel is ok as far as I can tell reading about 20 volts. Don’t know who to contact for a replacement. Any idea’s?
Since then have sent messages to XXK via Amazon and they ask a question each time. Just change the controller and call it a day. Picture shows no charge current and battery voltage low.
As an update. the supplier sent a new controller and system works fine.

Arrived quicker than expected, supplier kept us informed of a split delivery. Installing was easy and everything worked, easily charging the battery. The controller is able to supply regulated 12V DC via two connectors. The screw connector is not regulated so can exceed 12VD, I saw 15V DC in bright sunlight. Pleased to note that they supplied the connectors to bare wire. Simple solder and heat sleeve to join on to the equipment I wanted to power.
Bit of damage to the controller which we photoed and emailed the supplier, they replaced it immediately.

Ordered four panels. All shipped individually. The last one that arrived was different from the others and not like those shown on Amazon. It is perhaps an older manufactured panel. See photo. However, I tested the panel in bright sun and both the voltage and short circuit amperage were good. The one panel will just look different when mounted. Would have preferred they were all the same.

Purchased to install on a sailboat. After a lot of research I decided to give Eco-Worthy a try. Five Stars. Well made panels with solid glass matrix for solar cells, strong aluminum frame, quality, compact junction boxes and stout cables with connectors. Yielded over 18 amps in a driveway test out of the box on a cloudless day at noon, oriented 90% to solar angle. See photos. These replace two 28 year-old 120 watt Kyocera panels. These 150 watt Eco-Worthy panels provide 25% more power, 25% lower profile (shorter) at half the weight of the old panels. When installed aboard, long cable runs didn’t take away more amps than expected. And acheived good performance even on days with light, hazy cloud cover. The packaging was damaged in shipping with cosmetic dings to a couple of corners of the panels. As compensatuon, Lark at customer service agreed to send me 32 feet of free cable with connectors at no extra charge. And the jet black panel color is kind of cool. I plan to add several more solar panels and related gear to the boat in coming months and I will go with Eco-Worthy products when I do. Good job you guys.

I have ordered a few of these off amazon and they all shipped differently and from different warehouses. One of them that was supposed to have come from Illinois via UPS never made it, it got lost and I had to do a return. The one from Pennsylvania made it, but it was shattered and I had to do yet another return. Amazon was kind enough to not ask me to ship the shattered one back but they would not send a replacement, only a refund and I would have to re-order is since they “already did a return less replacement”. Since I bought it during Prime day I got a good deal and since I had to re-buy it afterwards it cost me more. The last one that I ordered came by UPS and although the box was damaged the panel was fine. They look nice and work good. They can be ordered directly from Eco-Worthy for less as they do not charge tax and have better discount codes.

I was worried about the panel breaking during shipping but it was package nicely and arrived in great shape.
I have this panel mounted in a less than ideal place, at a less than ideal angle, and it was still able to push 124W to my Ecoflow River 2 Max. Very happy with the watt/$ ratio on this, and if I ever expand my solar setup I’m going to probably stick with these panels.
Had a sunny day and pulled 167W out of it!

Great item. Solar panel seems to be pumping out the amps i need, and its now connected to two deep cycle batteries. The charge controller is fine, just wish the screen was more readable in bright light. Enough wire comes to be able to cut it and use the other half to connect to the battery with the addition of some car battery connectors. Cant fault this really.

Took me about one hour to glue it to my motorhome roof and wire it all up , I turned on and it works 100% no drama lol ,and the blue led display also looks cool .

Over the last 2 years, I have purchased 12 of the 195W panels and installed them in 3 groups of 4 panels. I also purchased the 4-up brackets that EchoWorthy sells (3 of them). All panels arrived well packaged (one had some superficial tears on the outer package. The panels are pretty rigid and don’t weigh much. They’re light enough that I installed the brackets and panels myself, with no help (2 hands). The output has been high and pretty consistent with their claims/labeling. I recently experienced 90 mph straight line winds that caused the long steel piece (joined in the center by a smaller/thinner steel piece and bolts) to bend. All panels continued to work. to repair the issue, I dis-assembled and re-enforced the long center steel (on all 3 of my groups of 4 panels not just the bent one). No panel experienced individual damage visibly or with output. The panels have also survived several South Dakota hail storms with no visible or output damage. 2 Years later, I am still happy with my purchases, and would choose this brand over others because of my good experiences. I have no criticism of the solar panels. They work well. My only criticism is of the brackets, and it’s very minor – the center steel assembly design needs to be beefed up for some regions of the country/world. I think in 90% of places, the design will work great. If you’re handy enough to put the system together yourself, you’re probably handy enough to beef the center piece your self too.

After testing and re-testing, this panel functions amazingly well, it’s a good bang-for-the-buck.
I do have a slight issue getting the negative MC4 plugged in, just have to use a little elbow grease.
Great bargain, and good output. I am surprised at the output in fact, normally you can not expect but around 63-65% of a panel’s rating (sometimes, in really good conditions ~75%, depending on the design), but this panel pushes out a consistent 68-73% of it’s rating in good conditions. It’s a better deal than many of the panels in this output range, on Amazon.

The company itself is good to work with
One panel was damaged on arrival by the shipper and they immediately replaced it
The tech support is happy to help… if and when you can get then to answer the phone (don’t bother leaving a msg or call back # they won’t call you back)
Had another panel shatter on a 92 degree day without a cloud in the sky but we had a freak rain shower.. hot glass and cold water.. it shattered. There is not 1 square inch of glass in that thing that isn’t shattered.
I have 7 other ecoworthy panels did not shatter
Don’t know why the one did but it was still under the 1yr warranty period
Called ecoworthy many times and lots of email run around to be told “We don’t cover that.. it’s an act of God, anything weather related is an act of God”
Are you kidding me? So I’m supposed to keep the panels indoors?????
That’s one of the lamest things I’ve ever heard!!! They don’t warranty the panels due to weather even though they advertise they are “ip67” rated??
Basically the ecoworthy warranty is a JOKE
Don’t waste your time trying to contact them
The ONLY reason I bought new panels vs used panels that were much cheaper is the warranty (joke’s on me)
Lesson learned
Thanks for clearing that up for me ecoworthy
I will be buying from other companies to replace your garbage as it breaks going forward
