More portable than the Delta Pro, yet capable to charge my Tesla with EcoFlow Portable Power Station Grounding Adapter. (In my case, if I can get 1.8kw from it, 1.8Kw x 200kw/km = 9km)
Great for camping (24+hr for my fridge) and backup for home.
App is helpful and very easy to use too.

Updated: ok having the Delta Max for just over a month from delivery. Was concerned with unit not turning off the cooling fans, even when the Delta Max is at 100% full battery. Placed indoors connected to a 65″ TV and home theater AV in UPS mode as b/u during power outages. Have my 1st EcoFlow battery, the River Pro, run as UPS for internet/router and is functioning normally. I have reached out to EcoFlow Support about a few times via their EcoFlow App ‘Help Centre’ within a day after receiving the Delta Max from Amazon. I called their Support representative and attempted get a solution, I’ve sent them photos, video and detailed documentation on this challenge. It took about week or so to reply, advised this is sent up to engineering, and a week later we have a firmware update! So this has addressed the fan issue which is much better now. Update: I’ve updated firmware to my EcoFlow Delta Max, will see in following months on Max’s performance. My customer experience was ok, She walked through and Preformed basic troubleshooting steps, which I have already performed myself prior, essentially power cycling EcoFlow Max. As such, week passed, EcoFlow Support responded, stated not to worry, noted to have escalated to R&D team to check Delta Max firmware. Today, the Max is running the latest firmware and doing a great job, as of Dec 18th, we had our 1st power outage and it was pleasant to have a powered up few lights and a counter top induction cooker and to make coffee. It used appx 40% of battery, 7 hours later when power resumed, we had 50% power remaining on the Max. I believe this is one of the best Solar generators in the market to date. Will definitely recommend this solar generator and Ill keep updates on this review accordingly.

I received this unit just before going on a week long camping trip and figured it out in a day. The only part I’ve never gotten to work is the app and to be honest I didn’t need it. If you review it online you’ll find its working 1 in 5 people. Tech support couldn’t help me and I will try them again later.
The unit work for me in 90-100 degree weather without any issues! I rarely heard the fans running. When I did hear them I was right next to them or I was charging the unit by electrical outlet. I had the solar panels which work if you can get them in full sun. I couldn’t because of where I was camping. Shade or direct sun was my choice and I chose shade!
The unit powered my CPAP, fan and charged all my electronic devices for 6 days before needing to be recharged. I eventually ran a Keurig on it as well and still had plenty of power available to me. I could’ve gone the entire trip without recharging the unit, but decided to do it just in case.
This unit is heavy and you don’t want to drop it on your foot. It’s insulated so it won’t ground out if left on the ground or in a tent. I found it to be very sturdy and easy to use. I never had it turn off when I was using it. However, if I left it on with nothing running it turned off after 30 minutes which worked for me.
I charged it on my balcony when I returned home. The unit comes with a long cord for solar panels. I had enough cord length I could leave the unit inside and the solar panels outside and still have almost 3 feet of cord. The day was cloudy so it took a while to charge. In full direct sun I saw one charge in hours. I would recommend this unit to anyone going camping.
We bought this unit because we went to a state park and plugged into the outlet at the site which fried everything! The outlet was bad and ever since we’ve wanted to free ourselves from the need of electricity and I believe we have found it.

So I used to have a 75 ft extension cord running out to my tool shed that plugged into a 20 amp generator inlet. I didn’t want to deal with trenching and running a line so I figured I would experiment going off grid with this product and some solar panels. I will list the good and bad below with each issue I ran into
Charging the generator: I used 4×200 watt solar panels on the roof and ran them to the machine. One the best day so far I have gotten about 475 watts input on the solar panels and have two facing east and two facing west since I am looking for the longest input not the highest. It charges just fine without any issue. At dusk I can hear a relay clicking which I looked up and other users have reported it is the solar generator recognizing some minor input by the solar panels but not enough to click over the charging aspect. I hope there is no long term issues with the relay
App: The app is amazing and I love it. The garage gets very mild wifi but the generator is able to pick up on it. Set up is a breeze and I can control the outlets, run time, charge capacity etc from the app. It is very convenient.
Power: The power is absolutely amazing. I have my garage hooked up with 6 Shop LED lights drawing about 300 watts and a fan on a seperate 15 amp circuit and a sump pump that is crucial for the drainage in the backyard + and any power tool you can imagine on a dedicated 20 amp circuit. The 20 amp I have a true HD 20 amp plug running into the inlet. I have turned on the lights, sump pump and air compressor all at once and this had no issue powering everything with zero start up lag. I turned the sump pump off and powered up the shop vac and measured the watts and was close to 1800 with the vac and compressor on. I am absolutely impressed with the power this thing can deliver and was super worried about it running these things however it shows no issue. I have faith it will power the table saw and miter saw without issue as both those machines draw a lower wattage and amps than what I experimented with.
Run Time and Measurement issues: This is my biggest concern with this machine is I don’t feel the battery capacity is a true 2kwh design. I have a “kill a watt” measurement tool and it is measuring my sump pump at 680 watts however this is measuring the same pump at almost 800 watts. That is a huge discrepancy and it seems like there is a markup of watts in anything it is running. For example my bug zapper on the kill a watt measures at approximately 60 watts but on the generator it is pulling 78 watts. It is almost like anything drawing current is marked up by almost 15-20%.
Another major issue I have is the machines draw on itself while just sitting there. My shed has a constant draw of around 5 watts (measured with the kill a watt machine) when everything is off. This should mean that with nothing running I should still get roughly 16 days off the machine with nothing running. That isn’t the case as it will run itself down in about 2.5 days without anything powered on. That means the generator itself is drawing a considerable amount of power just to keep itself on whether that is to keep it connected to wifi or keep the fan going etc. Not sure why but that just feels unnaceptable to me. I will go to bed and it will be at 100% and I will wake up and it will be at roughly 82%. That makes it really tough to be reliable in the winter when I am not getting a huge solar input. I am worried that it won’t be able to keep up with the draw let alone power the sump pump and anything else needed during that time frame.
I could get another battery to supplement this but you are limited to 800 watt solar input and to charge almost 4kwh isn’t going to happen on the best day in the winter where I live. That is a huge cautionary tale for anyone looking at this for off grid.
Edit #2: So I am halfway through winter and found two things out. I can extend the standby by turning off the power to the outlets and just keeping power to the USB chargers. This gives me roughly 10 days in standby mode and I can still log onto the unit and see what the power is and it still connects to wifi. Only problem is it does not charge below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. So for the most part it will be sunny and will not charge if it is under a certain temperature.

16 June 2023 EF ECOFLOW DELTA Max 2000.
I had decided that the appliance I most wanted to work during a power failure was my washing machine. I measured its startup current and found it to be approximately 40 amperes. This is right at the edge of what the DELTA Max 2000 could produce, so I took a chance and purchased it. Plugged in the washing machine, and it would not start. I then connected a high-power variable transformer to the Delta Max, set it to provide 95% of its input voltage, plugged the washing machine into the variable transformer output, turned-on the washing machine and it started and ran just fine. Used 10% of battery capacity to wash a load of clothes. I am very happy with the DELTA Max 2000! []

Did my research on these 2000 battery backup power. There or many brands and many good ones. The DELTA Max 2000 was top of the list in my findings. At this time, I have not had the time to pull it out of the box. This will be a weekend project to get it ready for hurricane season and get my older one charged up.

I live in FL and I’ve been thru several hurricanes that left us w/o power for weeks at a time. I have a gasoline generator but its noisy and dangerous to use because of the CO it produces. After a hurricane, you have to make frequent long lines in the heat to buy gas just about everyday, if the gas station has power.
To avoid all this, I invested in a solar powered setup. I bought solar panels, a charge controller, an inverter and 2 car batteries. After that I had limited power ( 750W @ 120V) to run the refrigerator and other minor loads, but most of all, quiet. But it’s big, heavy, cumbersome and requires some technical knowledge not to fry something.
This unit is plug and play. Much lighter, safer and easier to use and I could use my old solar panels. The app makes it easy to monitor even remotely. And it’s scalable if you need additional power reserves. I’ve kept my old setup but I don’t think ill be using it much. You’ll have to buy the solar adapter but it’s not expensive.
