I used this panel on a cab over camper for two years. It has been permanently mounted for 3 years to maintain batteries in tractors and a bobcat. for maintain batteries it has worked flawlessly! I just ordered 3 more for three other buildings – (boat, travel trailer, off-road cars, other toys, etc…) NO MORE dead batteries! I installed the first one using a charge controller. From what I have read, it’s not necessary.

Power wire has very light gauge cable, fragile. Doesn’t seem to have over-charge protection. Need to monitor batteries more often.

Mounted on top of standby gen open sun most days to keep starting batterybup to snuff. Painted the frame white for UVA/UVB protection as system is at 5900 feet southern UT. Works great even under low light conditions. Will know more in Sept if battery is over charged.

Charging indicator light on the panel is a nice touch. Looks like it is solid built. Lots of useful extra stuff too, connectors, auto power port plug, mounting screws, etc. I don’t write a good review unless the product deserves it. I’d write a negative review if it were junk, and there is a lot of that out there. I’m going to give this a try before ordering more. If it is good. I’ll need more panels for my project. (Lots more) So far the voltage is just fantastic. And the panel just looks good.

When I order solar panels I am under pressure to get them installed and after driving 2.5 hrs and opening package and it’s broken that cost me alot of money

Installed this on my home generator to keep the 12v battery charged. So far the panel works great. Has a blue led light to indicate that it’s receiving power from the sun. It has a built in reverse discharge diode. My favorite feature is the built in stand that most similar size panels lack so you have to rig something up. It comes with screws so I just screwed the 2 bottom holes to the top of my genrator shed and mounted it facing south. I could have mounted it flat also but will see which works better over time.

Works great, very easy to use. Don’t really know how anyone could over charge a battery with it. Has a blocking diode so you don’t drain your battery. Charges on cloudy days. I use it for my battery on my dump trailer, when I am not towing my trailer.

Extremely easy to use. Plugged in to travel trailer DC plug (included “lighter” plug) using an adapter from walmart (6 dollars) to also be able to plug in and power a car oscillating fan and charge a phone.
Powered both, including 2 lights, the radio, and the 2 exhaust fans installed in the travel trailer, to test ability to keep it cool for dry camping.
Thoroughly satisfied. Maintained the battery for several hours for myself and my 5 year old; kept us relatively comfortable in 90 degree outdoor temperature. Battery would discharge using more than a few lights or charging an additional phone.
Great for loss of or no available AC power while camping. Will be parking with family for 2 weeks and this should help keep it cooler while it’s sitting.
Placed in inside of window. I have not yet tested it outside hooked up to battery with included clips.
