I bought this so I don’t have to change my batteries over and over. Has been working perfectly for the past couple months

I bought this for the Bird Buddy. Bird Buddy has a usb-c plug. This has a micro usb with an adapter to usb-c. It is a very tight squeeze to plug into camera with the adapter on and mine worked for two days and then the adapter broke. So not recommended for Bird Buddy.

The media could not be loaded.
To mount this on the wall a locking nut cap is required but this is missing from the box so is useless

Was first concerned about buying an off brand product but it connects and works flawlessly with my outdoor security camera system. I will purchase another one but they went up in price. I will wait till a sale.

I changed my review below, because I purchased a new USB adapter, and now it seems to once again be working well. I wish this product came with a choice of USB connectors, instead of having to rely on an adapter. Panel works great. USB connectors, not so much. Hopefully this new adapter will last.
I purchased this to power a Netvue Birdfy camera. Initially it worked like a charm. It took about a week and a half to reach a full charge, but then it never dropped down below 100%.
The Netvue camera necessitated that I use the Micro B to C USB adapter. After six weeks of use the panel stopped working. When I inspected it, the connection between adapters was rusted. I cleaned the connection with contact cleaner and got it briefly working again. But now after a couple days of heavy rain it isn’t working at all. I’ve tried the contact cleaner again, and nothing works. My purchase date was February 24th 2023. It is now April 11th, and it hasn’t worked for the past three days.
The connectors need to be of better quality and have some sort of protective sheath on them. Afterall this is supposed to be made for outdoor use. So it should last longer than seven weeks.

I bought this to use on Eufy security cameras. Had no problem installing and it’s working to keep the camera batter charged. Area I installed doesn’t get a ton of direct sunlight, so I’m happy with the performance of the solar cell (so far.)
This was less than half the cost of the Eufy solar panel, so any small trade-offs are acceptable at those savings. Even if this only lasts a year, I could buy a second one and still have money left over. Eufy should rethink their panel prices, imo.
Couple of points I noticed:
The mount is awful. Super cheap plastic. It will work but I’d look for a standard mount for more stability and security. Took a star off for this.
Unlike the panel I bought from Eufy, there’s no silicone protector to keep water out. I used some electrical tape to waterproof where the USB-C connects to the camera. It’s a cheap part and they should include it since everyone will be using this outside.
Other than that, happy to have a solar panel for under $25.

I bought this to power a Beenocam battery powered security camera. The Beenocam had to be charged quite often because it is in a high traffic area so I decided to buy this solar panel to avoid bringing the security cam in the house to charge. It has been connected for three days and it seems to be working fine. The cable fits snugly into the rubber charger slot cover on the Beenocam so it is not bothered by heavy rain. It seems to keep the camera battery charged to between 70% – 90%.

Very nice solar panel. In my opinion it is well worth the money. What more need I say…

I needed to replace my previous camera solar panel because it could no longer keep the battery fully charged. I replaced it with this version and i immediately saw a difference. At minus temperature the charging rate slowed some but it was always sufficient to keep a charge to my camera battery

Keeps camera fully charged, even in cloudy conditions.

Our new surveillance camera allows me to see a dead zone in our yard by hanging it on a tree. However, the constant ocean breeze caused it to use batteries every 3 days. I took this out, hooked it up and ran the long white cord out beyond the shade of the tree in a sunny location. The camera went from empty to full in two days of “June gloom” in California with this solar charger.
My only wish would be if it was green or even black to not be as noticeable drawing attention to the camera.

I paid a little more to get this charger as it was supposed to be more powerful. It sends power but for the last three days the camera I’m charging has not gone up in battery so it’s pretty poor
