I love this light! I use it inside my hay storage shed. In the fall and winter, the inside of the shed is pitch black at night. All I have to do is open the door, the light goes on and stays on while I pull hay and goes out after I leave. It is solar powered and activates with a remote control of motion detector so I don’t have to deal with switches or wiring.

This light is worth the money…I bought two as a test for my home as emergency lights but they surprised me with the brightness and fully functional features..Motion detection actually works my girls had fun testing out the motion detection..You brighten or dim the light as needed..So now I am going to furnish my house with these guys..The best part is that it is so versatile you can angle the lights in which ever angle you need to get more light plus the bracket can be hung on just about anything or bolted which ever you prefer.

Using on inside basement stairwell with solar panel sitting in window. Will turn on day or night, motion sensor works well. Easy to choose modes but need remote to change between them. Bright led lights. Lots of mode options to choose from. Going to purchase additional lights.

I’ve never wanted to go to the expense of running electricity to the garage, instead I would stumble around in the dark with a flashlight. Total PIA. When I saw this light, I thought I’d give it a try. So glad I did. Now I have light whenever I go to the garage. It was easy to install, with enough wire to allow me to mount the light in the middle of the garage rafters while mounting the solar panel on the back outside (south) wall of the garage.
The only downside I found is that I had to drill a much bigger hole through the wall to get the cord through than I would have liked to. This is because there is a screw-in connector on the cord leading from the solar panel to the light. If they had switched connector cap to the light side instead, it would have made more sense. Other than that, I am happy with the bright LED lights which light up my whole two car garage. It will be great as we head into the dark evenings of winter.
It has a remote control that works fine, but as I have it set to night- time motion sensing, I really don’t have a need to use it.

What’s to dislike? Well, the output. This claims 1200 lumens… not even close. I have battery powered closet lights that are 500 lumens which are brighter than this light. It has been fully charged, more than 8 hours yesterday with no clouds in the sky. When I started the charging, it showed 4 green lights (indicating near full charge), and I moved the solar panel every hour to keep it inline with the sun. The purple charging indicator light flashed for the entire 8+ hours.
In my first photo, I have a post light (est 180 lumens) and a 1200 lumen flashlight (bright area on the right of the photo) shown together. In the second photo I have the same post light, and this light mounted on a pole in the general area of the flashlight beam from the first photo… Pretty distinctive difference & I used the remote to make sure brightness was all the way up before taking the photo.
I would estimate that this light is around 350 lumens and dims down to about 80 lumens on lowest setting. I’m using it in a shed in mode 4 (off till motion then 100% power) and it does light up the shaded corners very slightly when the sun is out and the door is open my 700 lumen flashlight pointed at the ceiling does a much better job, but not as convenient. At night, it does a good job giving enough light to see everything inside the 8 x 10 shed.
Remote started off a little odd, on button turned it on, off did nothing for several minutes then started working.
The light feels flimsy, but does give you plenty of brightness in a small space like my shed, and once you have it set in place, you shouldn’t need to move it again.
I would recommend this light for anyone needing to add workable light to a small shed or out-building that doesn’t have power.

Very bright and dimmable, I’ve tried others and this is the best for the price. Easy to use remote with easy to understand functions, For my use I prefer using only two buttons. I press MODE4 which is for motion sensing, as long as there is motion the light will stay on, my other favorite button is the AUTO button which the light stays on like for when your in the shower out of motion range. The light has a pressbutton for turning the device on, press once and your done with that button, there are 5 status lights on the light one purple which indicates it’s solar charging and four green lights indicating the charge remaining with 4 on green for 100% and 1 on 25%. I found that the lights starts solar charging as soon as it gets light outside, even without direct sun light and reaches full change within one hour. Note: you can add extra length to the simple light weight two copper wires by splicing in, I recommend soldering. It’s more then a Shed light, I’ve added an additional 30′ which works for my distant locations. I use my lights in a kitchen and bathroom with no additional lights needed, I enjoy saving money using solar. I have three of these lights now and may purchase more, great service, price, quality. Enjoy, San Diego Gary
