This is a nice solar panel with an easy interface for the USB compatible devices. I purchased this because the solar batteries in my hurricane kit charge very slowly. I was hoping that this added charging power would significantly reduce the charging time of the batteries. While it helped reduce the charging time, the impact was less than I had hoped. It’s a good addition to the solar array for the price, but I need to consider a more powerful solution. The construction of the panel is good and the design allows the panel to be hung in a window with a phone in the back pocket. I didn’t return the panel because it will be helpful in the even of a power outage.

So, I saw this gadget on TikTok—because that’s where all good financial decisions start, right? I’m always at softball tournaments, which pretty much last longer than a season of “Game of Thrones.” We also do a lot of hiking, paddle boarding, and camping, so I figured, why not? This thing hooks up to my backpack and works… well, it works as designed, which is all you can really ask for.
Now, it’s not the fastest thing on the planet, but then again, it’s not like I’m in a rush when I’m out in the wild trying to become one with nature. Plus, the sun is like 90,000 million miles away—I checked, that’s a real number—so I guess it’s doing its best, considering the commute.

Great for travel charger. It charges +100mA even without direct sunlight at 7pm while a bigger 20W panel failed to charge. Under good sunlight during daytime in Summer, It charges 1 to 1.5A (max). Very good for the size of panel. 100 to 250mA through windows. There is a design flaw. The phone pocket is blocked by USB cable. Still, I like this for light weight and good performance.

Our area [Greater Cleveland, Ohio] was hit HARD by FOUR tornadoes, a rarity. Power was out for 6 days; meanwhile, a cellphone tower WAS powered up, but if your phone wasn’t – (my battery was out of juice), cellphone no good. But, the skies cleared, SUNNY! This small little unit powered up MY cellphone easy-peasy. Folds easy, can hang on backpack if you’re camping or use it “tented”. Has a velcro cellphone pocket! Handi in case of emergency. I hung t out my south-facing window. Solar is great.

I used this solar panel while hiking in the Swedish mountains this summer. As any other solar panel (even much more expensive solar panels) it will not charge your phone fast. However, carrying the panel on my backpack throughout the day it charged my phone enough to maintain a constant charge throughout my 7 day hike. Definitely worth the price.

Unfortunately did not work at all. Two successive days under our clear Florida bright sky, after 6 hours, battery went in one of the phones from 20 to 23% the first day and in the other from 39 to 40%.the second day. I returned it

The design makes this perfect for Backcountry backpacking. The weight is nominal and the solar cells offer quick charging for the size of the product.

This is a nice compact solar charger for phone charging or other small electronic charging. It has two USB ports, USB-a and USB-c.
My phone has a normal usage draw of about about -200 to -300 mA. Using the USB-a port in full sun, I see a net input charge of around 650 to 850 mA, which is close to 1000 mA input from the solar panel. Charging the phone from 20% to 90% only takes a about 3hrs in full sun. In more cloudy conditions I still see about 100 to 300 mA.
Using the USB-c port I only get a net input of around 200 to 300 mA. My android phone does not seem recognize the USB-c connection to this solar panel My phone is either reducing the charging rate, or there is possibly an issue with the USB-c port. I have tried two USB-c cables with the same results. With the cables plugged into my desktop USB-c port I see about 1600 mA of charge, so I think the cables are okay.
Overall a nice, compact, and inexpensive solar charger with pretty good output on one of the ports.
