Description
The Renogy 200W Solar Starter Kit is easy for you to install, and it is the most economical choice for solar beginners. This Renogy Solar Kit includes the equipment necessary for building a new system: a solar panel, a charge controller, needed electrical wiring, Solar Y Branch Connectors and Z-brackets, making it an ideal choice for both off-grid and mobile solar power applications. This Starter Kit will produce an average of 1000Wh of electricity per day (Based on 5 hours of direct sunlight conditions). The 100W solar panel doesn’t take up much roof space, but its energy can offset loads such as lighting, camera, and projector. With the Wanderer Li 30A PWM Charge Controller, the kit can meet your further power needs by adding more of the same solar panels to expand up to 400W. The Starter Kit can build a reliable and environmentally friendly power supply, perfect for RVs, campers, boats, sheds, and cabins. It can also be installed as a power supply for outdoor appliances and emergencies, and as a stand-alone power system.

I just finished installing the 200 watt starter kit. It was easy to install and the customer service guy was very helpful and nice. Highly recommended company.

Everything came and it arrived on time. All the part were there and had it hooked up in about five hours. It has been working fine even through we have not had too many days of full sun. I am thinking of adding two more panels in the spring. I had ordered the wrong BT unit and they were nice to work with and replaced it with the right one.

This is a simple kit with nothing fancy and I like that. I installed this on our Intech Sol Dawn Rover ant it immediately provided plenty of power to our battery. No worries of the battery going dead in between trips or when boon docking.

I purchased a 200-watt system with an optional 40-amp MPPT charge controller. I also made individual purchases of cable connectors, fuses, tools, and cables. I chose to mount the solar panels to stainless steel Unistrut to ensure I hit the roof trusses and not just the roofing plywood. I also learned that it was easier to make your own cables versus buying selected lengths. Everything fit together very well and it worked great. My main purpose for installing this system was to keep my batteries topped off due to the heavy power drain from the hydraulic leveling and slide systems. I haven’t have an issue since. I left the door open to add another panel or two in case I upgrade my batteries in the future. Renogy offers some great videos on how to set everything up so it wasn’t hard to figure out what you need to know to install and use this system. Great product, everything works together, and fast shipping on the purchases.

Everything worked great. The only thing missing is the adapter to plug it straight into the camper. We had to connect this to the battery instead, It still worked fine just be easier if it was included,

The solar kit is not bad for the money . The cables were long both for the battery and panels . So far I’m good with the purchase

Seems like a great setup. I put in new RPod. Because my camper is prewired it had some things that I didn’t need and lacked some I needed. I didn’t need the wires to the batteries and I needed connectors for the end of the wires coming from panels. The way the wires insert into the controller leaves some of the hole exposed.
