Conext XW Pro 6848 Inverter/Charger

Solar Charge Controller

The Midnite Solar Classic lines of MPPT charge controllers will substantially increase the flexibility, features and range currently found on MPPT controllers. The MidNite Classic charge controller is unique in its ability to be used for a great variety of DC input sources. The Classic is designed to regulate DC input from PV, and Approved Hydro and Wind turbines. The Classic 150, 200 and 250 are designed to work with 12, 24, 36, 48,  and 72 volt battery banks. The Classic standard models are the only MPPT controllers with built-in Arc Fault Detection, making them the safest controllers available.

Batteries

The KiloVault 2100 PLC is a pure lead carbon sealed AGM deep cycle solar battery, for cycling applications.  KiloVault 2100 PLC is a cost-effective, maintenance-free battery that offers superior performance in Partial State Of Charge (PSoC) applications, combining pure lead and advanced carbon technology for extended battery life and rapid charging.  The batteries are designed for residential or light commercial off-grid, backup, or self-consumption applications.

This home solar system includes (16) 12V, 180Ah batteries, which will be wired together in 4 strings for a 48V, 720Ah, or 33.6kWh battery bank. Deep cycle batteries should not be discharged lower than 50%, so a battery bank of this size will provide approximately 8400 Watt hours (Wh) of energy per day, for two days when fully charged.  This is a rough estimate of capacity, actual capacity can change based on temperature, state of charge and the condition of the batteries. Additional batteries can be added to this system to increase the capacity of the battery bank.
