This is a cool little solar pad that I really got for my bird bath fountain and it works great. I recently packed it for a three day camp out and it didn’t allow my iPhone to charge. At first it did then the phone went into Apple’s “device may not be suited” BS. All in all it’s a good item.

Bought this solar panel to pair with a usb fan for my tent at softball games, works so well even on cloudy days! Use it to charge your phone too, definitely convenient to have with you

To put it into perspective it’s about the size of a license plate it is very mobile and easy to carry lightweight but there’s no case I would be afraid of somebody sticking it in a backpack it breaking. Very slow charge I plugged my phone into it to test it out I was at 53% and it said 6 hours until fully charged. But it does work great as an emergency backup or I plug my portable speaker into it for work and never have to charge my speaker I had it playing for two straight days almost and never beat at me that it was dying all in all goodbye for the money it is what it is picture looks very accurate

aunque le tiene que dar el sol directo a la placa, no basta con que le de claridad
Es útil, solo que te la tienes que ingeniar para que no le de el sol al móvil mientras cargas

I live in a van and needed something small to trickle charge my portable chargers when I’m asleep during the day and it works perfectly. I didn’t want to buy a big solar panel because it’s too much to handle and noticeable. It took about 5 hours to fully charge my portable charger.

First off, I’ll say that this solar panel (the 6W version) works. It charges phones – in full sunlight – and I suppose it would charge a camera battery such as one used in a Wi-Fi camera while in full sunlight. The problem is that it will *discharge* (as in *draw power from*) a battery in cloudy or low-light conditions. This happens when the battery’s voltage is higher than the panel’s output, and the panel doesn’t have a blocking diode (or if a charge controller is not installed in the circuit – a scenario that is not practical or relevant for a 6W panel marketed to supply supplemental charging).
I tested this panel with 2 different USB multimeters and found that unless you have full sunlight, it puts out 5W of power VOC no problem, and when you hook it up to charge a device you still get ~5W DC, but you get none…as in 0…amps. That’s also probably expected. What is not expected or wanted is the drawdown of the device battery. In my tests, under this condition the phone battery loses power significantly faster than when it’s sitting idle and disconnected. The conclusion I’ve come to is that this panel has no blocking diode, or if it does it’s faulty. So be aware that while it serves what is arguably the most common use case, it may not work as you need it to on some others.
