Description
- [Increase 30% power generation] Upgrade from 100W to 130W, increase power generation by 30%. Generate 520Wh max per day under 4hs full sunshine
- [Extremely flexible] Good flexibility, can be installed on RVs, boats, cabins, tents, cars, trucks, trailers, yachts, roofs or any other irregular surfaces
- [Ultra-thin and light] It uses advanced polymer materials, which is 70% lighter than traditional glass solar panels, making transportation and installation easier
- [Waterproof] The junction box and diodes have been pre-installed, and are sealed and waterproof. The solar panel comes with a pair of 2.79-foot MC4 cables, which can connect multiple panels in series or in parallel
- [Quick Installation] 4 metal-reinforced installation holes are pre-drilled on the edge of the solar panel, which is easy to install. It can be fixed by adhesive, silicone, double-sided tape, cable tie or Velcro, which is very suitable for non-permanent installation

Inspect yours carefully! mine had a cell broken in half, not from shipping but from the factory!! this cut the whole panel’s output in half since all the 36 cells are in series, its like the weakest link in the chain effects the whole panel. i returned it and got another one that was just fine. it measured 22.5 Voc, and 0.500 Asc, so exceeded its plate markings as it should when it’s new. it is indeed at least a 5 Watts nominal panel. so in bright sun you should get 0.3A to 0.4A available to charge your 12V battery. some of the rating numbers in the article are wrong (probs not on purpose, some are for a 10 Watt panel.) this is a 5 Watt panel as most of the writing indicates. once tested, i added a fat bead of silicone all around the little connection box on the back of the panel, since i judged it not to be watertight! some of the edges were very sharp until i filed them down so that i could handle the panel more safely. u can tell this was made in somewhat of a sweat shop, but u get what u pay for i guess. months ago i previously ordered a diff brand: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L60Y6Y4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and it seemed slightly better quality for similar price. however it is larger size for same power rating. either one is OK.

This Solar Panel just barely does what I need it to. I bought this particular solar panel because it was priced right and should have put out plenty of energy to power a small computer fan, however it just barely does. I honestly had hoped to possibly even wire in a second computer fan on this Solar Panel as it technically just met the power criteria. I wired up 1 first and realized that just the one took a very sunny day with direct sunlight to get the fan going and even then it is only about 80% of the time. I have heard the motor buzzing before without any motion and had to flick the fan to get it going. This was all on a really sunny day with direct sunlight. I dont feel like a very small Computer fan should be pushing this to it’s absolute limits but it is, and I may end up having to purchase a second solar panel to really achieve what I was going for. That said, it does work and I am aware that I am not a solar power expert so perhaps this will meet others expectations more than it did mine.

This panel does not come with anything except the wire leads which is OK. Problem is the mounting holes are on the INSIDE of the frame, there is no way to use them without external brackets which I had to make then fiddle getting a small nut on the backside to hold them. Once mounted I extended the wires and hooked it up to a plug that goes to my backup generator battery then measured the output voltage, it measured around 26 volts? I’m assuming the very low amperage of this panel will not be an issue direct wired to the generator 12v charge port. I would have hoped for a little more literature related on how to use this panel. I’ll keep an eye on the charge to ensure nothing goes wonky. 🙂

This company has very good customer service…ordered a bunch of them….had received a couple bad panels, so I reached out and contacted the company….they sent me out replacements immediately….I would recommend this company, and buy from them again….Panels put out good power and are easy to mount to the surface of your boat or RV.

I bought one of these 150W solar panels as it advertised just over 9A of current in maximum sun. The most I can get out of this panel is just over 2A in full sunlight with the solar panel adjusted perpendicular to the sun. Is this because I’m using it in mid March in Vancouver Canada? Hoping to get far more current out of the solar panel in the summer months.
Update – I was using jumper wires with alligator clips to connect the solar panel cabling to my charge controller and the gauge on the jumper wires was restricting the current to 2A. As soon as I omitted the jumper wires the current shot up to 6A in mild sun.

Apart from the fact that in full sun, only 100W of power is being reported by the MPPT charge controller, these solar panels are fine. Got two panels and each is reporting 24V open circuit as expected, but as I saiid the Amps are less than expected. Two in series are reporting 40V under load in full sun and producing about 195W total, can’t get any more sun on the panel. They are just underperforming by 30W each., so only 4 stars.
