Description
- 【Upgraded ETFE material】The solar panel charger adopts ETFE material imported from Japan, The bumps on its surface can collect sunlight from different angles, and the fine layout can make secondary use of sunlight refraction. The light transmission rate up to 95%, providing 30% high photoelectric conversion rate. Its built-in aviation grade impact resistant material can effectively resist impact.
- 【Lightweight and durable】Compared with the traditional ETFE solar panel charger, our flexible solar panel is lighter and thinner. It weighs only 1.67 lbs and measures 20.8x14x0.7 inches. A layer of PCB bottom plate is added inside to prevent the conversion rate from being reduced due to the internal cracking of the solar panel. It is flexible, portable, IP65 waterproof, Windproof, dustproof and has self-cleaning capability, completely maintenance-free.
- 【Intelligent Charge Chip】 The built-in MPPT charge controller optimizes the performance of the solar panel, generating at least 25%-30% more power than traditional PMW charge controllers. Built-in over-voltage protection, over-charge protection, short-circuit protection, relay protection and reverse charge protection to fully protect your battery and extend its service life.
- 【Charging Visualization】The solar trickle charger has clear indicator lights to help you visualize the working status and battery condition well at all times. Red light (Charging) – Blue light (In Sunlight) – Green Light (Full Charge) – No Light (Short Circuit) When solar power fails, you can check the connection in time.
- 【Widely Used】The solar panel battery charger comes with 3 different SAE cables, plug and play. Also features snaps and suction cups for easy installation and cleaning. Widely used as solar battery maintainer for 12V batteries and DC charging equipment, such as cars, RVs, motorcycles, boats, ATVs, etc. VOLTSET provides 24/7 professional customer service and 12-month warranty. Hope to solve your problem in time.

I bought this to keep a slow trickle like charge on a battery that sits in a car I don’t drive much. So far seems to do the job. It has a few options to connect which was awesome.

May be more flexible when warmed up. But not at 70-Farenheit

My security system on my truck drains a lot of power. With WFH, I may go a week or so without driving. When the truck sits for more than 4-5 days, the battery dies thanks to that security system. I purchased this solar battery charger hoping that it would at least cancel out the drain from the security system.
I mounted the panel in the windshield and hooked it up through the “hot” cigarette lighter port. I came out to my truck 6 sunny August days later. Battery completely dead.
I did not order this with the unrealistic expectation that it could revive a dead battery, but I was thinking that it could at least keep up with a trickle drain. It did not.

The panel is nice but the suction cups aren’t that strong. I would suggest getting better suction cups if you want to use it on a window.

Now that I’m ramping up into VanLife, I’m trying out a bunch of different ideas with solar panels. Until my van is finished, I thought I’d get a few of these smaller panels and play with a concept in my head of mounting this inside the sunroof cutout of the car I’m currently Car Camping in. At the same time as I got this 20w panel, I also got a 30w of another brand…
I was expecting that the 30w OYMSAE would be outputting 150% of whatever this Voltset 20W would do, but the results were surprising. In back to back tests, (on a partially cloudy day) I was getting an output of 14w from the 30w OYMSAE and 12w from the Voltset 20W. A few minutes later and with more cloud cover, I was getting 9w from the 30w OYMSAE and 7w from the Voltset 20W. While I would have expected 14w reduce to 9w in the reduction from 30/20, I was happy to see this Voltset higher. I was expecting 9w down to 6w, it output 7w, so in a side by side comparison, it was more efficient than expected.
It’s hard to really understand that a 20w will usually only be about 75% efficient on the clearest of days, so it really does need to be a side by side comparison.
On top of efficiency analysis, this one is a nice high quality and solid construction. It’s a very solid choice for this price range and wattage range. Just wish I could return the OYMSAE 30w and get a Voltset 30w.

I purchased this to keep my gas powered golf cart battery topped up. Works great, only have two complaints.
1) The SAE cable with the loops to attach to the battery: the loops were too small for the battery posts and we had to change them out to bigger ones.
2) same cable: I would have appreciated a cap for the end of the cable.
Happy with the purchase.
The day after we attached it a storm came through and flipped the panel over on the cart, no damage to the panel or the cart.

Have a farm tractor battery that goes dead after a while of not using. This solar charger maintains the battery.

So far so good.
