i took the smallest children’s pool layered the bottom with gravel, surrounded it with field stone picked up field stone on the back roads during my visits to the Amish greenhouse and placed plants around it and to top it off I have three solar fountains floating in it. they are working perfectly.

I did not not like this fountain. The little suction cups do not hold it down at all so it almost immediately float up and go to the side of the bird bath, spraying out all the water. It would also have to be in full sunlight for it to even work, if a cloud went over the sun for a moment it starts sputtering.

Works great. Wish there were more options for shorter sprouts of water to keep the water in the bird bath but I’m happy with it.
Birdfriend –
I like the solar fountain and the fact it has several fittings to control size of spray. I put it in a smaller birdbath so was able to select a spray that stays in the bowl

Doesn’t work like it should. It spurts the water up every few seconds, but does not provide a constant free flowing fountain. It also doesn’t last very long once the sun goes down. I also wish it had solar lights on it as well.

depending on wind conditions blowing unit to side of container. you will have to keep eye on it, or it can run out of water

this doesn’t work well, the wind blows the water out of the bird bath and it stops working unless water is deep enough

Love these fountains in my bird baths. Keep water circulating and from getting dingy too fast.

Still in progress of building a fountain pot for my grandma and mother for their birthday/Mother’s Day gifts. Purchased two Better Homes and Gardens pots for each to go along with the fountain. They are to sure enjoy!
