Description
Perfect for marine use or placement on top of a van or vehicle, the Renogy 50W Lightweight Solar Panel is thin and capable of flexing up to 248 degrees. At 2.87 pounds, this flexible solar panel weighs only a quarter of its traditional 50W counterpart.

Works great and should be more than enough panel for my overland Jeep build.

Nice panel.
Only getting 36-40 watts out of it in full sunshine, so not sure it’s as good as it’s rated.
Hoping the connectors on the panel itself hold up better than in prior versions, where they have been its Achilles heal.
Dion Parks –
Excellent set up for my casita trailer. Easy to install.
Very happy with my purchase
R. Mark Pasciuti –
I’ve mounted this solar panel on the main hatch of my sailboat and it conforms perfectly to the curve of the hatch top. This 50w panel keeps my group 27 marine deep cycle battery fully charged and has exceeded all my expectations. The panel is ruggedly constructed and the brass grommets are very convenient. Power output is perfect for my needs with incandescent cabin and navigation lights.

Does what I anticipated when I ordered. I thought I was ordering from Renology, I was really tired when I placed my order. When I reviewed everything a few days later, I was somewhat disturbed that I had made a mistake and ordered from a different company with a similar name.

I would prefer it if the + and – wires didn’t extend on opposites sides of the panel, but came out nearly together for single panel or parallel use. Only time will tell if this flexible panel is durable. Two of these replace a Renogy folding panel which quickly failed.

The panel is better made than the one it replaced. Initially the wrong product was shipped, but Renigy was responsive and shipped the correct product.

This panel is installed on the pilot house roof and easily powers our electronics and house battery.
Joel Kubik –
Very nice flex panel. Its light wieght and easy to use.
