Thought it should produce “something” in shade. Was not expecting nor looking for much. But ZERO.
Look elsewhere.

The 50W 30A Solar Battery Charger is like having a portable power plant in your back pocket—if your back pocket could hold a solar panel, that is. Whether you’re out camping, boating, or just off the grid in your RV, this kit’s got the juice to keep your batteries topped off and your gadgets running. The 12V/24V monocrystalline solar panel is efficient enough to soak up the sun, even on a cloudy day, and the included controller makes sure you’re not overcharging or frying anything. It’s like having a dependable, sun-powered sidekick. Perfect for those who love the great outdoors but still want to Instagram their adventures. If your idea of ‘roughing it’ includes staying powered up, this solar charger is a must-have in your gear.

The only two challenges:
1. You need a battery to keep constant power to the device you are using this on, for instance, it doesn’t have enough constant power for a water pump to run smoothly.
2. I you have to mount the panel more than 5 feet from the control box (Batter, Load, Panel) that you plug in, you will need to get a DC extension cables, I got a 20ft extension for my application.

There is no way this is a 50 watt panel and I seriously doubt this joke of a charge controller is 30 amp…good luck with it
