So I put the arlos up high so nobody can mess with them but it was a pain to change the batteries. I had some back up batteries both arlo and generic (generics done seem to last as long but the arlos are expensive). Because the generics don’t last as long, it means that when I used them, I will be breaking out the ladder sooner.
The constant change of batters also means having to keep adjusting the cameras after the change.
The prices of these solar panels where really expensive when I first got my arlos so I hesitated.
While recently checking out solar lights I came across arlo solar panels and they were alot cheaper than they used to be, so I decided I would try them.
One I hooked up to an arlo with a fresh battery and the second to an arlo with an extremely low battery. Wanted to see how they worked.
The one hooked to the fresh battery has remained fully charged for months and the other one, despite being between two houses and limited sun exposure, manage to fully charge the battery, though it did take it over a week to do so. With that said, it is fully charged and both seem to be working wonderfully.
Very happy with them.

I was searching for an alternative to the Arlo official charger because those are expensive for just 1 and they last 2 months at best and that’s with issues…. This one worked perfectly without any problems whatsoever for 6 months. We had a bad storm one night and I came out to find the charger had become disconnected from the camera, I plugged it back on. Charged for a second then wouldn’t charge again. Tried cleaning it etc, but no luck. Hooked the second one up and it’s now charging again just fine. It’s still quite a bit of money, $45 for a year estimated at this point, but that’s a lot better than using Arlo at $60 for 2 months.

These are easy to install, work well, and are an excellent price.

A little smaller than the older style but works good.
Wish the cord was a little longer.

Keeps battery at 100 percent

The Arlo solar panel did not complete charge the batteries and I had to turn it of for 2-3 days evry 4-5 weeks, so the bat goes to 100%. With this one I just leave it on 100% of the time.

Not charging my Arlo Ultra 2’s. I live in Southern California so there is plenty of light and it’s not my first set of solar panels for my arlos so I know they are set up properly.

Like the fact that my cameras no longer need to be removed and charged up.
