This little solar panel is working great so far. It appears to be well made and durable against the elements. I like that it can maintain the battery charge so that I don’t have to worry about checking the camera battery so much. Others have mentioned using it to charge other devices besides the Eufycam models listed. At this price point, I’m thinking of getting another one to try out for other rechargeable devices I have.

This solar panel has been working well for it. It comes with a Micro USB conenctor and an adapter to USB-C, making it useful for many types of devices. I am personally using it to power a meshtastic node and it has no issue powering the battery charger. It comes with an articulating mount and installation hardware.

I did not get this to power a security camera. Rather, I want to have a small panel available to charge my phone and emergency radio in case of prolonged power outage. This unit claims to deliver 7.5W, which is a little more than the older iPhone wall blocks, but only about half or less of current ‘fast chargers’. I can say that this DOES work, and it seems to deliver about the wattage advertised (based on speed of my phone charging). It feels solidly build. The mounting adapter seems that it would work well if I were actually mounting it on my home. For my purpose, there are probably better set-ups. Some large, unfolding solar panel could charge faster. But as a small, solidly build panel to keep with my emergency supplies, I like this and have no complaints. I imaging it would serve its intended function well as well. It’s nice that it comes with cord nails, adapter, etc.

I had to install my solar PTZ security camera in an area that gets little to no direct sunlight. The camera indicates “charging” during daylight hours but was losing 2-3% of battery power every day. I was hoping this larger 7W solar panel would generate enough power in the shaded spot to keep the battery charged, and it does! The 7W solar panel is in the same area as the camera, but it’s approximately 2x larger than the camera’s built-in panel, so it generates that much needed extra juice. I’m now seeing my camera’s charge level increase by 2-3% every day. My battery was at 41% when I hooked up this solar panel about 2 weeks ago and it’s now up to 75%, and increasing each day. I don’t have a Eufy camera, but this charger will work with ANY camera that runs off 5V USB-C or micro USB, with the included adapter.

This 7W Solar Panel from VUEBEE is exactly what I needed for a pest deterrent as I had placed it in the shade and it did not receive much sun to keep it charged. It has a built in USB-C male plug on the end of its cord and includes a USB-C to Micro USB adapter which has a weather resistant seal when they plug together. It also includes screws for mounting, wire routing hooks and various weather proofing grommets for the camera or item you are plugging into. The surface of this panel is fairly smooth which makes cleaning easy.
In testing this panel, I used my USB tester in an early morning sun around 10am and it was outputting 2.5 watts. More during the middle of the day I recorded the panel charging the battery pack at 3.3 watts. I have solar panels on my house and know not to expect a max output of the rating of a solar panel. Additionally this is tested at a time of year when the sun is partially in the south which would further reduce the strength of the sun. But overall this panel has done a great job of keeping the battery charged even on cloudy days.

I have lots of rechargeable security cameras around my lake to record wildlife. Many of them require recharging every few days. This solar panel has 7w output, while most solar panels for cameras have only 3-5w output. It also seems to start charging sooner in the morning and keep charging later in the evening than other solar panels. It came with swivel mounting bracket and a 9ft. cable that has a standard USB-C connector, which fit my camera perfectly. It also came with a USB-C to Micro-USB adapter that will fit my older cameras.
It was so simple to just plug it into the camera and angle it toward the sun to start charging. It worked great on the first camera that I tried it on, and seemed to keep up the battery level each day. However, when I tried it on a camera that I was having to recharge every 2 days, it didn’t seem to make any difference. I must have a bad battery in that camera so I will use the solar panel on a camera with a good battery, and just keep the camera with the bad battery on a constant USB power source.

I got this so that if there’s ever an emergency and I need to charge something small I will be able to. I tried it out yesterday on my Galaxy S21 Ultra phone at around 5pm. The sun was not at its full strength and right out of the box I went outside, pointed the solar panel at the sun , plugged my phone in and within 2 minutes, it started going up. I let it sit for about 30 minutes and went back and it had charged 20%. I don’t know if that’s fast or not but it definitely worked for ehat I wanted it to work for. It also charged up a vape from 0 to 100% in an hour and a half. This is definitely something everyone should have.

This is a good size solar panel with plenty of power. With a choice of USB-C or Micro USB ports it will work with many types of devices. I don’t see where the voltage is specified on the website, but it does state that it’s five volts on the box it comes in. I just had a solar panel fail on one of my bird feeder cams so it’s nice to have back-ups like this on hand for situations like this.
