1. Tube creeps off the pump within an hour. Not good quality tubing. 2. Very little pump capacity. So little air that I doubt it helps the fish at all. 3. When is Amazon going to quit peddling us this unproven Chinese crap? I would like to demand some kind of guarantee with products. But half the time the “dealer” is no longer with Amazon by the time I reach out. Amazon is flooding our lives with unproven products, I paid for a Dyson rechargeable battery-it was just the plastic housing. Amazon is trashing our world.

Seems to work pretty good I’m not letting it get wet I put the pump under a bucket outside and I put a plastic clear bag over the solar unit seems to work real good even when it’s cloudy and rainy out it makes bubbles

The rechargeable battery feature is nice. On overcast days though, it doesn’t seem to extract enough energy to give the battery much of a charge, but I found that shining even a smallish flashlight on it at night keeps it bubbling!

Makes koi and fish ponds more amenable to fish. The koi happily swim through the bubbles and aeration is key to healthy fish and plants. Works even through power outages and is relatively cheap for the service provided.

Pump already quit working. It’s smaller than expected and when it did work it produced very little aeration. It gets plenty of sunlight for the solar cell, so that isn’t the issue. Worked for a couple days and now nothing.

Air pump works great. Needs a control valve to be able to place the 2 dispersal heads at different depths in the water. (Costs about $5 and includes backflow preventers that unfortunately also prevent air flow.) I live in the desert with overwhelming amount of sun. The battery backup works great, powering the system all night without any trouble. One thing; the tiny nut that holds the stand together was missing when I got the product. I rigged something up, but it would have been nice to get everything needed in the box.

We use this outside in our koi pond. The battery back up is not the best because, no matter what mode I have it on, it doesn’t operate through the night. The solar panel does its job. The bubbles work as expected. Ants are attracted to something in the plastic/rubber feet. Tiny red sugar ants. We keep the pump away from the water and covered so it doesn’t get rained on.
I’m not mad I bought this, but I probably won’t buy it again. We’ve only had it a couple of months and it’s just not what I’m looking for.

The Biling Solar Pond Aerator with Battery Backup, 3 Modes Solar Air Pump Hydroponics Air Pump, Solar Powered Pond Bubbler for Outdoor Fish Pond Stock Tank Aquarium works, it puts out bubbles but slightly. I wouldn’t go to deep or the bubbles would barely blow. I would put it in a 10-15 gallon tank not a pond. I replaced this pump with one that burned out. The burned out pump I had running would churn the water as if it had undertow ripples. This pump barely moves the water with it’s highest settings. I’m going to keep this pump because I like the fact it runs on solor, so far it comes on when the sun comes up and runs for a while after the sun goes down. For this reason and this reason only I’m going to keep this pump. Would I recommend this pump for a deep pond or tank no!. But if fishing and you want to keep the fish alive yes it would be great for that. Otherwise no, I don’t recommend this pump for ponds and deep aquariums.
