No idea how well it works or if it does because we have no instructions at all, students started to put it together and its a good thing a parent saw what the students did and we were told the lithium batteries could have exploded the way they were hooking it up.

I am still trying to make this work. The windmill came without screws, but the company sent me more. They are now helping me troubleshoot why the windmill is not spinning in the wind, and the solar panels are not charging up the battery bank. It takes several days to get messages from tech support. The solar panels are cooking up power nicely. I just have no way to harness it yet.

I only received the two panels i didnt get the wind tubine the 2 100amp hour batterys or the 1500 watt inverter i paid over 1700 bucks where s the rest my order? also didnt recieve brackets to mount the panels and theres not enough wires to fully hook the system up 1700 bucks you think i would get wire to hook the panels and the wind turbine not just one or the other . If thinking of buying dont i still havent got batterys yet.

I want to maximize collecting all the power I can from the sun and wind. I also would like to monitor how much power is being collected and used. Is this possible?

Don’t use a 2” galvanized pipe, it is too large, use a reducer and 1.5” nipple with the rubber material provided. Also, I drilled a hole I pipe to run wiring down, so have help pushing wire up to connect turbine to and then pull back down to install turbine on top.
After a number of emails, which where quickly answered, I have learned that the controller is junk, even after trying a replacement sent from factory. Toss it out right away, purchase separate high quality controllers; also increase your battery bank, since the inverter will drain the provided battery bank in short time. After I made these changes, the system works quite nicely; I will be adding 400 more watts (solar) and 400 watts (vertical turbine) plus increasing bank greatly. Hope this helps and reduces other’s frustration.
