This panel is big. Quite big. I have several solar panels of different outputs and this is my highest output… and largest when folded. It’s somewhat flexible so I’ve been really careful to prevent any sort of stress to the panels by leaning it in an awkward position.
I have a 40 amp solar charge controller that maxes out at 500w for charging a ~12v battery so this panel fits well within it’s range.
My power actually was out for a couple days after a storm last week and my power stations got quite the workout! I made coffee, ran my light strips in the house, had fans the whole time, listened to music… I was basically camping in comfort in my house the whole time. The day after the first night I had several power stations that needed charging and a solar panel that needed to be tested! Just this one panel with a good solar charge controller, an anderson powerpole distro block, and a few adaptors allowed me to charge 4 power stations (300 watt hour) and 2 ham radio batteries (20 amp hour lifepo4) in the span of one day! I kept a constant eye on the equipment as this was the first time I’ve worked with this much solar power at once, according to the solar charge controller my system was outputting 20 amps (after the charge controller at around 12 volts) nearly constantly combined between the load and the lifepo4 charging. Moral of the story, this panel did impressive work even in my yard with intermittent full sun with all the trees around.
I need to find a sure fire safe place to store it, but holy cow am I impressed with how much I can do with 400w of solar that I can easily set up.

This solar panel folds up into quarter panels for easy transport the supports in the back simply fold out making the panel very stable. As you can see from the third photo, even in the winter sun in the north east, it has good output of energy. All you need to purchase to make it functional is the inverter of choice (based on the amount of energy you need to store) which you can find right here on Amazon. There are several inverters they recommend in the instructions. Overall, the price is reasonable and the panel is a practical way to use natures energy.

Our primary reason to purchase this 400W solar panels is to run Ecoflow Wave 2, air condition/heating unit for our camping need….We are happy with this product.
I tested for 4 hours duration from 10 am until 2 pm in sunny day. It was producing 70% (280W) of 400W consistently. Range of power was 250W/290W.
Good: 1. Weigh 20 lbs. and size of folded panels 2. Provided rod to support panels. I use it to reposition panels to direction of sunlight. 3. Carrying handle and 4 eyelet holes. 4. Power generated.
Can be improve: 1. More instruction in manual related to smart chip. How dose it work with pictures? 1.1 My initial start-up show ‘Zero Watts’ with over 44V generated for awhile with red light on (My though were something wrong), then show some watts.
2. I would like to see wider range of voltage capability to cover 18V.

I’ve been using the EENOUR UB-400 Solar Panel for a while now, and I must say, it’s one of the best I’ve tried. It’s built with the better and lighter monocrystalline cells that provide a solid power output of over 350W consistently and a conversion efficiency of over 21%. This is some serious power in a panel this size when comparing it to the other options available.
It’s not too bad wiring into most power stations since it has the built-in MC4 cable. It would be nice to have an option to change this cable to a different style, but it’s built well enough to last the life of the panel I would say.
One of the main things I super appreciate about the UB-400 is the whole portability of it. U can have this thing out of the van and aimed correctly at the sun in less than 2 minutes. Putting it back up is even quicker. It’s the built in adjustable kickstands that makes it so quick to setup. Plus, obviously it’s super light – less than 20lbs. We were even able to fit it into the back of the FJ cruiser stanging upright between the cooler and backpacks.
You can tell it’s built tough and built to last it’s more than capable of withstanding the elements. I’ve used it in various conditions and it’s held up really well. Of course, like any solar panel….the actual power output can fluctuate based on weather and sunlight intensity. But even in less-than-ideal conditions, the thing has consistently done a good job for me.
Based on my experience I’d say it’s a worthwhile investment. It’s reliable, versatile, and hardy – everything you’d want in a solar panel for your outdoor adventures.

I already reviewed this product along with its 200-watt cousin. A good unit for larger solar generators. Note that this 400-watt panel is not suitable for small units but is best used for units that can handle larger voltages. See my other review for more details.
