Over the last 12 months, our family has purchased the 720W Generator, 720 W extra battery and a 160W solar panel from ECOFLOW. It has been on numerous trips and performed without issue. It was also purchased for power outages as this combo will maintain a fridge and charge important devices. It charges on 110 volts faster to 100% than any other unit we could find on the market. This is very handy on road trips. It has great size to weight ratio. Very easy to use and the display is user friendly. We use standard marine/auto battery boxes to store and protect them while traveling. ECOFLOW has been very good with support questions and customer service. Highly recommend you consider their products.

Ecoflow has gone out of its way to correct the problem that I had. When I bought the River Pro and the Ecoflow Solar Panel as a package — they did not send me a cord to connect the two products. I indicated in a review that I was disappointed by this. Ecoflow has very positively responded and is now sending me a power cord free to connect the River Pro to the Solar Panel along with a product discount. Thanks to Ecoflow for their very prompt response to this issue. The River Pro works very well for my intended use, and I am looking forward to testing out how it connects to the Solar Panel. Would definitely recommend EcoFlow to anyone looking for battery backups and solar panels in the future.

I purchased this bundle along with the River Pro Extra Battery for added capacity. The main unit that arrived was defective out of the box. After contacting EcoFlow they sent out a replacement in a timely manner. Performed as expected the first weekend out. It was super hot and it kept a large fan running all night easily, with some lights and of course keeping devices charged. During the day, we never saw 160 watts from the solar panels, but we expected this based on research. During bright sunlight, the panels produced a steady 120 watts. About the solar panels, the build quality seems excellent. I was afraid of folding units coming apart at the seams, I don’t picture that happening here. They also come with a carrying case that doubles as a stand. Only negatives I can think of is I’m not a fan of apps in general. I wish changing some settings could be done on the main unit, rather than in app only. One thing I would suggest is turning off the fast charging feature(app only) to extend overall battery life. If you are considering this unit I would say go for it. It has a large capacity and is not too heavy. Don’t purchase a smaller one, you’ll never regret having a bigger battery.

I bought this product for emergency electricity in hurricane season. Sometimes we lose power for extended times due to hurricanes or ice storms. My wife is unable to walk. I wanted be able to retract her power recliner footrest, or enable her to watch video for a few hours. This has been an actual thing!
We did a test, powering the TV and a sound bar for almost six hours. The video streamed over my tethered iPhone 11. Had I had the solar panel mounted in sunlight during that time, I could have extended the use time. In a disaster I’d probably charge the phone from my car or the River Pro. The input from the solar panel almost balances the output to the TV and sound bar! In a real disaster I’d rough it with no sound bar. I recharged the River Pro after my test in about five hours — had some scudding clouds at times.
So the River Pro met expectations. Monitoring and controlling it from the phone as on IOT device seemed silly until I tried it. Now I wouldn’t want to have to physically access the River Pro at all. I was able to monitor its recharging from a restaurant. Cool.
My only issue? Delivery. The panel and the River Pro shipped separately. I received the River Pro, but did not receive the solar panel. My Ring Doorbell records all porch traffic. It caught the River Pro delivery at the time stated by Fed Ex, but there was nothing near or at the time that Fed Ex marked the solar panel as delivered.
The seller is not Amazon. The Amazon site wouldn’t allow redress until I contacted the seller. That was a convoluted set of clicks, but I was able to send the seller a message via Amazon. The response? Run up and down my street knocking on doors asking if they have my solar panel. If not, then deal with Fed Ex myself.
NO! NO! I’m not the shipper! Fed Ex never darkened my door. My neighbors return any misdlivered mail without my asking. The shipper kept asking me if I’d dealt with Fed Ex. No, not my thing. I’m not the shipper. See, the deal is: I wait at home and then Fed Ex delivers. That’s the way it works.
The Amazon site said the order was not returnable (Lithium ION battery — need approved packing, etc.), but I could request a REFUND. So I did. The seller immediately asked me to cancel that request and they’d send me a new solar panel shipment. I’d have to sign for it this time.
A few days later I saw somebody peeking in my window next to my door. It was a Fed Ex deliveryman who asked for ID. No signature though. He NEVER rang the doorbell! I have to wonder if he’s the same driver who mis-delivered the original (remember nobody recorded on my Ring Doorbell at the time indicated by Fed Ex).
In the end I’m not happy with either Fed Ex or the seller in this transaction. I’d knock off one star for the seller’s handling of the issue, but please know that the product is worth FIVE STARS.

Bought it mostly to power the CPAP while camping. Get your machines DC power cord, turn off the heater and humidity and you will get well over a week without recharging the River Pro. It of course works great for other things too but the CPAP for more than a week incase we had no sun to solar charge was our main requirement.

Although the unit works well it could have handles built onto it. Difficult to handle unless you thread rope through grommet holes but it does charge my generator quickly.

The only thing I tried to run on it that it didn’t is a tiny heater but the battery life is really good. I was going to buy the delta max but I got a really good deal on bluetti 220 max if I didn’t find such a good deal I would have absolutely chose the delta max. Price is a little high but I feel like it’s worth it.

Make sure to install the app and have the firm ware updated when adding an extra battery. It works well and charges well. My mother is using it for her sleep apnea machine and a small air conditioner at times. Even a heat lamp. The app is extremely handy for this unit. Make sure to grab a cord for it because it is not included. Also a carrying bag is handy. Why the cord is not included is beyond me.

East to use easy to setup, phone app is great even better when you don’t have to have internet access. Solar panel is easy to use and the stand works well, This is my first system so have nothing to compare charging with but I love it.

Absolutely love this unit in my camper. Charges quicker than anything else I’ve seen on the market. Lots of plug in options and has USB3. My only gripe is that for the amount of money you’ll spend, NONE of the ports have dust covers and that is a huge oversite. You leave this outside to charge or run your electronics, you will have no way of keeping the dust/dirt/water out of ANY port. What a huge oversite. Had to order a whole bunch of dust covers from a 3rd party vendor when it really should just come with some. Also, the solar charge port, again, when needing to charge, your ports remain completely exposed to ALL elements. Get rid of the latch opening and make them simple flush plugs with dust covers and it would GREATLY improve the life span and functionality of the product. Thankfully I am handy and am modifying mine to make this happen cause it is seriously annoying to worry about this expensive IMPORTANT unit when I drive & charge.
Other than that, this beats just about anything on the market today. A new model though with these improvements would STOMP the competition.
