【Cost-Effective flexible Solar Panel】:Looking for a durable and flexible solar panel? The BougeRV CIGS Flexible Solar Panel uses advanced technology to withstand harsh weather conditions, making it reliable for outdoor use. Lasting up to 25 years at an average cost of $23 per year, it is more cost-effective than Mono Semi-Flexible panels that only last 1-3 years and cost $115 per year. So why settle for less when you can gain peace of mind by choosing BougeRV CIGS Flexible Solar Panel?
【360° Ultra Flexible】: The BougeRV CIGS Flexible Solar Panel is the perfect solution for RVs, marine vessels, yachts, or any curved surfaces, as it has the ability to flex up to 360 degrees. These solar panels are ideal for those who value weight-saving features, as they are 70% lighter and 95% thinner than their rigid counterparts.
【More Stable Output】: Say goodbye to unstable energy output with BougeRV CIGS Flexible Solar Panel. Its advanced wire-intensive CIGS technology captures more energy even in low-light conditions or partial shade, ensuring stable power output at all times.
【Light and Thin】The BougeRV CIGS Solar Panels are highly portable and easy to install, thanks to their lightweight and thin construction. They’re roughly 70% lighter and 95% thinner than monocrystalline solar panels with glass, making them highly practical and convenient for outdoor use.
【Extreme Waterproofing】: BougeRV’s ETFE-coated Flexible Solar Panel is designed to withstand harsh weather conditions. It’s IP68 waterproof and has improved rainfall drainage to minimize the effects of partial shade. The connectors and junction box are also IP68 waterproof, ensuring optimal performance in wet outdoor environments while outperforming rigid panel models.

I was very curious about this product and wanted to install it on my ikamper tent. Unfortunately it did not suit my needs and I was offered a full refund. Service is out of this world.

I love everything about the engineering and material aspects of this panel. The customer service and warranty work is fantastic. I look forward to covering my Off Grid home in these…..

I’m a full time nomad, and I love every Bouge RV product I’ve purchased. You get great quality products without paying the cost for some of these other big brand names. Plus, they have excellent customer service.
Anyone looking to invest in solar for their RV/Van, this is the way to go. My only recommendation is that unless you live somewhere EXTREMELY sunny, you’re better off getting multiple 100W panels rather than one higher watt panel. For instance, you may only be getting 80W of input from you 200W panel, which would be a waste…but if you have three 100W panels, now you have 80watts of input x3. Hopefully that helps!

I have been on the lookout for a flexible, light weight solar panel. I have bought several other items from BougeRV and I have been very happy with the quality of their products. I have hooked up it up to several of my battery banks and it has worked flawlessly. I went with the 100W mainly because of cost but I would also consider the 200W panel.

I’m unfamiliar with standard or expected efficiency loss when solar panels are not mounted precisely perpendicular to the sun, but these panels seem to perform poorly under non-ideal conditions. 62 degree clear day in Phoenix, AZ – Sun at 37.7 degree altitude during daily median: Out of 200w max output (which the panel does produce when mounted precisely perpendicular), output is hardly 80 watts! When mounted within 15 degrees of perpendicular output still doesn’t push past 120w. Also, partial shade and shady conditions cut output even further – a benefit of these is supposed to be improved output during these conditions, but I can’t imagine a “standard” panel producing less than 20% of rated. Perhaps the above is typical for all – I’m not (yet) an expert – if so, disregard my ignorant complaints here! An off-axis correct factor would be great to have as part of the product specs, then the consumer could know what to expect in various conditions.

I wanted to update my review to include the quality of customer service offered by Bouge Rv. After posting my review, I was contacted by Sam, at Bouge Rv. First I was proactivly offered additional calibration info, but when my panel still didn’t produce more than 50% of advertised wattage they sent me a free replacement. Great job Sam! I haven’t had a chance to test the replacement panel, but but when I do, I will update my review again with the results. For now I’m giving them 5 Stars for their dedication to customer service.
I finaly got around to unboxing my 100w Cigs panel today. I had high hopes for it, but unfortunatley I’m not happy with its power production. It is very lightweight and flexible, but try as I might, I could not get even close to the advertised 100 Watt output.
Let me start by saying, I’m pretty sure I got a returned unit, as there was animal fur all over the panel when I pulled it out of the box. Aside from the fur, the panel appeared to be in good shape, so I carried it outside along with my small solar generator.
The battery was at 60% SOC. The built in mppt charge controler allows for 120W solar input, so it should have worked beautifully. However the panel only provided about 55 Watts while still cool from the air conditioning, and after a few minutes in the sun the output dropped to a measly 40 Watts in full sunlight. I tried a few different positions, but I soon realized that 40-45 Watts was going to be as good as this panel gets.
I’m so disappointed, I need the lightweight flexible design for my application, but at a cost of over $4 per Watt (real world) I can’t recommend this product.
The semi flexible panels are much more affordable, and similar weight.
I haven’t decided if I’m going to return it yet, as I still need a truly flexible panel for my installation, but with only half the rated output wattage I’ll need at least 1 more to provide the necessary power for the build, and at $200 each I simply can’t afford to double the budget for panels.
