I’ve never seen a better engineered product. I know nothing about air conditioning, but installed it by myself except for help mounting the inside unit on the wall. Its a little heavy and bulky. It’s quiet beyond belief. Best of all, it cooled great. I highly recommend this product, but don’t expect quick delivery. It will arrive eventually. Order in off season, it’s cheaper.

Indeed!! No need to have a tech to install indoor and outdoor units (unless you damage the service lines or something else. A most!! Attention to detail and internet research. This is my very first mini split install and it works perfect. I had an electrician install the circuit breaker box, and I took care of the rest from the cable whip, a/c service disconnect box, condenser and indoor unit. All it takes is reading instructions carefully, internet research, mostly YouTube for the reading haters and that’s all. It cools and heat and it is soooo quiet. I Love it and will enjoy it to the fullest!!

OMG – My Mr. Cool Mini-Split works great!
I bought the 36K BTU Unit and it literally cools the whole house off in 10-15 minutes.
I did pay an electrician (friend) to wire it up for me even though Mr. Cool is a DIY device, I don’t play with 220V power and I am not the most handy person so I called a friend.
My house has big Southerly facing Windows in the High Ceiling Living Room, so the heat from the sun is a bit overwhelming when it gets warm in the PNW. The window units I used previously barely made it tolerable, they were loud (the Mr. Cool mini-split is almost silent) and they sucked a lot of power.
Mr. Cool Mini-Splits are a fraction of the cost of putting in central AC and like most everything else in my house my Alexa Devices control it. So it as easy to use as telling Alexa to ‘turn on Mr. Cool’.
Speaking of cost, the operating cost of my Mr. Cool Mini-Split seems less than running my previous cooling solution which was multiple window units in nearly every room. Having all those windows not secured in order to have those old-school window AC units in place made me feel like I was inviting a burglar to come on in, not to mention hanging those units out the windows seemed a little tacky visually.
I haven’t done more than ‘try’ the heating function but expect it will help with that too (even though I have a great furnace with the high ceilings I have in my main living area I expect Mr. Cool will take the chill off in the winter downstairs without out overheating the upstairs.
I Highly Recommend Mr. Cool Mini-Split’s. Mine is keeping my house cool at a fraction of the cost and hassle of other solutions.
Thanks Mr. Cool a great product that works at a reasonable price.

Good AC, but as I said, it’s missing parts, so this delayed my instalation. I’m upset..I’m hoping they arrive soon

I live in a house with baseboard heat. No duct work for central air. I ordered the 36 BTU for my 1900 sq. ft. Split level home. The main level is cooled very nicely. I have a fan blowing up the stairs and down the stairs. The upstairs does stay pretty warm still, but the humidity is out of the air. So it feels a lot better. Great purchase!! I did have a 240V line installed by an electrician, but my dad and brother-in-law were able to install the unit.

Instructions needed to be better. Wasn’t made clear that it had to be hard wired. Mounting plate poorly engineered.

Arrived ahead of schedule – everything looks good.

The unit is great if it arrives undamaged. It was only the air handler or Wall unit that had a couple of broken attach points. Technical support at this company is nonexistent, especially assistance with the rep. named Michelle at extension 223. Tried calling several times and left messages to call back. The whole unit is over $2000 and very heavy but the damaged wall unit is only about $400 and somewhat light. I just wanted the wall unit replaced. What this company does is tells you to return everything on your own without any help to get it done in hopes that it is too hard to return or you already have started its installation. Which is when I found the damaged parts, I will not return it and find some good adhesive to glue these parts together and hopefully the cover will not vibrate. I recommend the unit but not this company selling it.
