Works great although the technician had a hard time installing it.

Very disappointed. We were in the process of building a tiny house and just had it installed this Sept. Air works great. Heater kicks into defrost mode constantly. At night the house never gets about 40’s. When I called they said to have the installer come check the gauges. He came out and stated everything was fine with the gauges. No heat strips inside the unit so when it goes into defrost you don’t have any heat source. Sometimes it stays in defrost for hours (even when its 65 outside). We had to buy another heater to make it through the night.

We have had several issues with this unit. We had the circuit board replaced, but the heat still doesn’t work.

Easy install, has been a great unit.
After 5 years with temps down to -15F it’s been a great unit.
My HVAC guy also says customer service is outstanding. He highly recommends.

Unit has been running for a few weeks now flawlessly. It has made a huge difference in our bedroom that gets so hot facing west here in South Florida. We love that we can kick the fan speed up to cool the room faster than normal. At the lower speeds the unit is very quiet for an air conditioner… my wife still needs her ‘noise-maker’ to sleep at night as the AC is too quiet.
It definitely costs more install these cassette units vs the wall-mounted ones, but we are glad we did it as it is much less intrusive in the room than a wall mounted unit that would have been one of the first things you would see walking into the room right above the bed.
I will try to remember to provide a yearly review.

This is definitely a DIY installation with proper equipment. Which I purchased for~$150. Love it.
