Renogy 200 Watt 12 Volt Monocrystalline Solar Panel Starter Kit with 2 Pcs 100W Solar Panel and 30A PWM Charge Controller for RV, Boats, Trailer,…
【Efficient Performance】The 200W Solar Panel Starter Kit will produce an average of 1000Wh of electricity per day (Based on 5 hours of direct sunlight condition). The Cell Efficiency can reach 22%. The bypass diodes can ensure the panel has an excellent performance in a low-light environment and the TPT back sheet dissipates excess heat to ensure smooth output performance.
【Solid Quality】Advanced encapsulation material with multi-layered sheet laminations protects cells from physical damage and distortion, improving cell performance and providing a long service life.
【Smart Function】The Wanderer PWM Charge Controller is compatible with four different types of batteries: Sealed, Gel, Flooded, and Lithium batteries. It also features advanced 4-stage charging (bulk, boost, float, and equalization) to ensure your battery is efficiently and safely charged to 100%.
【Full System Protection】The Wanderer PWM Charge Controller has a number of built-in protections to safeguard your systems, such as reverse polarity protection, battery overcharging protection, overload protection, and short circuit protection.
【Ready to Install】This Renogy 200W Solar Panel Kit includes all of the equipment necessary for building a new system. The included cables, Z-brackets, and pre-drilled holes on the back frame of the panel allow fast and secure mounting. With the Wanderer Li 30A PWM Charge Controller, the kit can meet your further power needs by adding more of the same solar panels to expand up to 400W.

Kit comes with everything you need. All you need is a grid tie inverter or batteries/inverter. I bought 2 of these kits and will buy more every month. Thanks for the high quality products

I bought this to get started and after realizing these two panels will max out around 150watts and more consistently put out 25-50 watts I added more panels. Im currently running a total of 700 rated watts of panels off this 400 watt controller from the 200 watt starter kit. I bought the BT controller so I could monitor the output of the panels. The panels are hitting 400 watts at times and the controller doesn’t have any issues handling it. I will probably upgrade the controller at some point, but so far this one works great and it seems to do a good job of keeping the batteries healthy. I would buy this 200w kit from Renology again in a second! We are using this to run a 36×72 barn off the grid. For our scenario Solar is a cheaper and better option.

Works perfectly, charge controller works great and solar panels pump out power as expected

I was a little nervous to get these, being on the less expensive side but I’m happy I got them and if I get another one, I will buy the same thing again. I wished there was a better way to connect them to the roof of my trailer house. The brackets are reasonable for general installation in all locations, but for a trailer house roof, it was hard to have them land on the beams all the time and I ended up having to put a lot of white goop stuff (got at local trailer supply) in them to keep it sealed ok. I have not had any leaks yet, but I’m not so sure they’d stay on the trailer if I got in a crash… 🙂 we’ll avoid that one hopefully…
Install was a tad nerve wracking when it came to the wiring. I saw people bought fuses and fuse cases with it and got he same thinking I needed them, but I ended up using just what it all came with. It seems to do a good job keeping things charged up and I’ve run the heater and everything for a while to see how it did.
I do not plug in my trailer any more and sold my generator (Honda 2000)… I was glad to get rid of the noise (very nice/quiet generator by the way) and gas smell.
I was very surprised how well the panels did in the winter. It kept it charged even thought we had a fair amount of snow. That was interesting.
Controller is a bid hard to wire to, feel like you are going to break the tiny screws with those big wires. Seems like a little stronger setup could be worked out there. The controller is kinda a self handler though after you get all that done. Haven’t done a thing with it. Just look at the lights.
Was relieved when it was over and seemed to work and nothing had smoke coming out of it! haha 🙂 And that it keeps running like a charm (so far).
Again, I would / will buy more of this one if I get more. I’d like 3-4 panels on my 30′ trailer… its a biggy. I did get all LED lamps in this order as well and replaced my entire lighting. Very happy with that decision also.
I’d love to get a tesla power wall and install a bunch of these to keep that charged. Not an environmental nut case, just like to get off the big bills. Not sure if they’d be the best for that though.

I use this system in a camper. I chose Renogy for the brand name and reputation. I am fairly new to solar but not working on electrical projects. Easy to understand and install, seems to be working well. All components seem to be of good quality. So far it meets my needs. Would recommend.

Very pleased with the quality of the product and installation documentation. The panels and charge controller are simply great quality. From the reviews I read before buying, Renogy stands behind its system and responds to troubleshooting customers – a big plus over competition in my purchase decision.
A DIYer, I wired the Wanderer Charge Controller into the bedroom of our travel trailer to have immediate access to the system status (and to keep it dry), plus two ammeters; one to monitor solar charge rate to a battery bank and one to monitor our power draw from the same battery bank. That gives us the ability to see the automated doings of the Wanderer, which is really a superb quality charge controller.
The system package came with everything necessary, except in-line fuses, to get hooked up to our battery bank (four deep cycle 12-volt flooded cell marine batteries with about 300 amp hour storage capacity) and to run the power cable leads about 8 feet away from the trailer. I purchased an additional 50 feet of power cable (on Amazon – Unlimited Solar’s – Solar PV Cable Set with 2 x 50FT MC4 Wire Exntensions – 10 AWG) to be able to place the panels away from shade we might park the trailer in. The MC4 connectors are what Renogy uses and are compatible with other vendor MC4 extensions.
For now we are laying the panels on the ground; I will build an adjustable stand for future camping trips. So far everything works great, panels have been in 7 hours of sun per day on two camping trips and kept us charged up for daily 12-volt use (lights, water pump, an electronic ignition propane fridge with a constant 12 watt/0.8 amp draw, propane furnace ignition and fan, CO2 detector).
We have shifted our lights to LED’s (lower power draw bulbs), but I expect this setup would keep up with higher incandescent bulb’s power draw in camping spots with ideal panel exposure. I also plan to have a 200 watt AC inverter in the mix and expect that will be adequately supplied by the system.
We really like camping away from campgrounds, in BLM deserts and National Forests, so this is a great set up for us. I will recommend to friends!
