I love everything about this so far and it has kept my class A coach house batteries topped off perfectly. I no longer need to keep it plugged into shore power. The only thing I think they could improve is the screws they supply for the brackets that go into the coach roof. If you have a TPO roof with luan underlayment You will find the screws have nothing to grab onto, they are just too small. I already had my Dicore sealant down under the brackets so I just tightened them till snug but it is really easy to over-tighten them and pull them out so I recommend putting larger coarse thread screws or even going one step farther with wall anchor inserts that spread out behind the panel making it a bigger purchase area before gluing them down with your sealant. Also, make sure you buy a 30 amp breaker/ disconnect switch to go between the controller and the panels, it does not come with one. I also purchased the battery temp monitor and the Bluetooth unit and they both work well.

Had a single panel ordered the 300w kit now I have no issues with the power in my RV as we are off the grid at the lake. I have 2 6v batteries and they are fully charged even using light furnace and tv. Have not installed permanently as I wanted to see if they would work for me. They are performing awesome. Will be installing permanently when I get the RV home in the fall.

Simplicity is key, and this system delivers. Look, I am an electrical engineer and I could have put together a system piece by piece if I wanted. But this system is so good, and so easy to make work! Why would I go to the trouble of figuring everything out when Renogy has done it for me?
I live on an island that was decimated by Hurricane Maria and six months later the power delivery is very spotty. This great little system carries us through the common, sometimes several times a day, power outages. I can charge all my devices, power my internet antenna, run a fan for hours, a few LED lights, etc. It won’t run a fridge, but it will run pretty much everything else we need in our daily lives. I’m running it with two marine deep cycle batteries (not included with the kit) and that’s working well.
I’m very happy with this purchase and I bet you will be too!

This kit is very well made. It had nearly everything you need. I ended up ordering the 18” extension cables for all the connections so that I had a little walking space between the panels. If you are mounting these on your RV roof you will need to have self-leveling lap sealant on hand too. I also ordered but chose not to use the well nuts and bolts. I don’t like the idea of drilling (24) 3/8” holes in my camper roof. Instead I put a little lap sealant down and used 12×1” stainless hexhead screws. Then lapped over everything worked perfect and will never come loose.

Fairly easy and straightforward installation. I’ve had them installed one day as of this review and they are operational. The only con on this package is the fact that you cannot hook all three panels together without purchasing additional cables. The cables on the panels are too short to connect all three of them to the branch connectors.

Panels are good quality, connectors cables are too short so I had to install them right next to each other. No way with the cable length for any other configuration. Wire is not copper but will work for the voltage and amps. Controller is a PMW not the much better MPPT version. Not as efficient and not many options for wiring it in parallel vs series. Overall a very basic (but decent) kit. Knowing what I know now I would have got 3-400watt panels and an MPPT controller. For now it will do fine. Test run camping I was able to use my generator much less. Like 4 hrs total the whole weekend. Where before it was running 2-3x that. I also replaced my single 12v batter with two 6-volts with high amp hours.

Super easy install! I used a higher quality stainless steel hardware to screw into the roof of my RV, but other than that, everything I needed was in the box. My next step is to install more batteries, or possibly go to lithium. But for now, if I forget to turn the house batteries off, no big deal! The solar will keep them from going flat. I love the blue tooth app too.

Excellent kit. Pretty much everything you’ll need to wire it up for your RV. I installed these on top of my trailer – 300W – and I”m expecting that this set up will fairly easily keep my 200+ Amp (dual 6v golf cart) batteries charged during extended camping trips, eliminating the need to carry a generator along. During a sunny day in Seattle (a rarity!), I am getting about 16 amps at 14v (224 watts) in full sun at 3 PM (July) – with a bit of sun angle diminishing full output.
The solar panels and connectors are first-quality, the solar charge controller works great (and tapers the charge as the battery voltage increases to a full charge.
NOTE: Because you are not to have the panels connected to a load without the controller being attached to your battery – I added a 30 amp switch between the panels and the controller allowing me to shut off the panels if I need to disconnect the battery. Also – I purchased a 30 amp fuse for the hot wire between the battery and the controller – I would certainly advise always putting an appropriately-frated fuse in line with any power wire coming from the battery.

I was a bit intimidated to install these myself. But after watching a few videos it was clear that I could manage it and I did. The installation was fairly straight forward. I am not sure the provided directions were helpful but thankfully lots of people post videos on how to install them. Works great so far.
