Excellent … Couldn’t be easier to use and works as intended. NOTE: ALWAYS “connect” your solar panel to controller LAST and “disconnect” the solar panel from controller FIRST.

This unit works great during the day and even puts out a voltage at night. Good purchase, I recommend it for those who are just starting out with using solar. I’ve charged batteries for my cars and my golf cart. Purchase the Schumacher SPC-7A 12 Volt Solar Charge Controller to use with this solar panel to get the most out of it.

Hooked up to battery on trailer for about 4 hours on a dead battery, gave some juice to the battery. I just need to leave longer. Probably 3 days to fully charge. Other wise works Great

Simple installation, literally plug it in to the cigarette lighter (Is it even called that, anymore?) And set the charger on the dash. Maintains the battery charger perfectly.

Doesn’t come with charge controller! Just the panel and some wires. Reccomend longer wires as well.

I got this with SPA 7A controller and it works great.

works great and charges my car fine. a bit bulky and would be nice if it had some sort of suction cups and place in the windshield glass.

Works well, keeps my car from dying from the drain in current due to my video camera. Could have come with a small flip out stand to prevent it from having water pooling on it during rain. Comes with super long wires. Good quality but seems a bit expensive. Wattage also seems to be low but this is meant to maintain, not charge. Could have come with rubber feets too to prevent scratching my car. Solved this problem by buying rubber feets and sticking it myself. Recommended to use with charge controller to avoid frying your battery.

Es muy grande se necesita espacio y no es para batería de gel

I doesn’t keep the battery charged, at all. I live in the sunny southwest and have the charger facing south, with a clear view of the sun all day. Total waste of money.

We drive a truck over the road and are required to have a personal vehicle parked at our company HQ. When we go home we drive our truck home and use our other vehicle to get around. This causes us to leave our ’98 Dodge Durango (parked in Georgia) for 3 – 6 weeks at a time without starting it. When we do we use it to go get something to eat and back to work so it does not get driven enough to give the batteries a good charge. We purchased this, along with the Schumacher SPC-7A 12 Volt Solar Charge Controller, after having to jump start our vehicle after leaving it for 8 weeks. We use thin window shades (with Fairies on them) and put the Solar Charger on the dash. It charges just fine even though it is not in direct sunlight. After being parked for 4 weeks, we put a multi-meter on the battery and it read 12.3 volts..started right up. Now we are thinking about buying another one for our Car in Florida! Hope this helps.

This was an exact replacement (by size, capabilities, and brand name) for a broken winch battery solar charger on one of our trailers. Works just fine👍.
