This is something that a person with mechanical aptitudes can successfully install, with help from online videos. The one thing that was not explained was how to properly vacuum purge the system. = make sure all high and low pressure “hex” shut offs are turned on at the supply and return lines where the copper lines attach to the compressor ( outside unit) before opening the main (upper) shut offs to pressurized the system, otherwise you are not purging the A/C compressor circuit

Great unit very helpful seller. I installed my self but books are for multiple models so a little confusing. I have used now for about a month and it even worked when temperature was down at – 18 degrees Celsius . I had one of the 4 units changed when I ordered to a ducted one. The ducted one seems to work even better. Used the ducted one to split between small bathroom and a hall way.

I installed this Senville 4 head split mini air conditioner in my 60 foot single wide trailer that has no insulation basically it’s a 1972 it is so powerful and cooling and heating it works online with my iPhone I love it .I’ve only had a few days to use it due to our perfect weather but when it gets 117 here I’m going to be a happy man. I cannot express how quiet this machine is inside and Compressor outside and efficient.Fan blows from super hard when necessary to whisper soft.

First: knowing what I know now, would I do this again? Yes. But I might do things a little differently. Forget about where you think this system should go and talk to your HVAC installer, because he or she will have completely different recommendations. If you cannot put the inside units on exterior walls, you will need a condensate pump, which means extra expense and noise. If you want to hide the outside pipes and wires, you will need to buy a line set cover kit and possibly paint it to match your exterior, another extra expense and a little extra work. What disappointed me the most is where the inside units had to be mounted. They are much larger than they appear in the pictures, and although you will not notice them after a while, they will be the first thing your guests see. The side to side louvers are worthless, which is pretty much why I knocked off one star. Wherever you place the indoor units, they will blow straight ahead from there, which I found very frustrating. Supposedly there are models that work better side to side, but mine. I’m glad I did it because I needed the supplemental cooling, but when I do it again, and I will, I will do things differently.

Installed in rental house and very happy as is tenant. Quiet and problem free! Thank you senville. Works perfect in summer and winter. Install is well explained and only gripe is linesets should be longer, 25′ instead of 16′. Vacuuming of sys must be done by qualified contractor for warranty to be valid. Unit is easy on hydro bill. Bought one for my house as well.

BLUF Bottom line up front. Cheap, great A/C, average dude can install. Take your time, read the instructions! Call Senville directly for proper units to buy before you buy. Also make sure you buy the right sized copper linesets. This review will show for all the Senville A/C units, as well as questions answered. Don’t believe all the answers, I had to do a lot of my own research to get the correct info. Not all indoor/outdoor units are the same. Different voltages, btu’s, lineset lengths and sizes etc. My review is based on the 4 zone 36000 btu unit. I ended changing my original order to a 4 zone, 3 9000btu and 1 18000 btu. Works great!!!!!!! When in doubt call Senville directly! Goodluck!

I ran into some issues that I created myself and Sam at Senville tech. support was awesome. He listened and responded to what I said and solved the issue on the phone. Four handles with two different compressors all problems resolved. Thank You Sam Tony.

I installed this in my 1500 sqft home, with one unit in each of three bedrooms and one unit in the main living room/kitchen area. The unit cools and heats my home perfectly! Installation took a couple days, and when it started flashing a PC-03 code, support was helpful and immediately troubleshooted my problem to a closed valve. Great product and great support, would recommend!

I bought two units, I decided to go with this brand because it includes everything, it is even factory charged with the refrigerant. Very easy to install, super quiet, efficient, beautiful design, the romete control comes with batteries and a bunch of functions and modes. I am very happy with my purchase. I’ll buy two more next year for another building. Thank you so much.

I recently purchased a 4 room unit. The system arrived on time. I installed the units and while evacuating the coolant lines, I found a leak in one of the indoor units. I stopped the installation process and contacted Senville support. I spoke to two representatives and was told to email a copy of my original receipt. I had a replacement unit in 4 days!! No hassle, no game of 20 questions. Just describe the problem, and “Ok, we’ll take care of that”. I never fault a company for a mistake, it’s how the mistakes are handled is what makes the difference. I will be ordering from Senville again, without question.
