1. The bird bath pump is driven directly by the sunlight. So it will work continuously only when the sunlight is enough. As the power of the solar panel depends on the sunlight, the pump is also affected by weather, seasons, places, etc. Peeling off the
plastic film protector on the surface will makes better;
2. Don’t make the solar fountain pump work without water for a long time, or its lifespan will be shortened;
3. Clean the solar water pump regularly and keep the solar panel clean;
4. When the pump is just placed into the water,there is air inside,which may affect the spraying.Advise to connect the nozzles after the normal spraying.

I needed to buy a bigger bowl for it because no matter how big when the sun was shining it would spray outside the bowl. I just have to figure out which nozzle will work the best. But I like it very much.

I set this up about 5 minutes ago and I’m wondering why I didn’t order this sooner?! I’m an avid birdwatcher and also an avid horizontal leisurer. I close my eyes and it’s like I’m at a babbling brook. 10/10

I really like the idea of this. The drawback is if you put it enough in the sun to get it to really make a fountain, the water is too hot for the birds to go in. If you put it in partial shade and partial sun then it slightly goes up, but I think it’s better than not going up at all, because it seems to attract the birds that way.

This was more fun than we thought it would be! That we do wish the instructions were more detailed and clear print. But by process of elimination we got things to work. Immediately started spraying water.

I love using these in my bird-baths to keep the water moving and it just adds a nice flow to a backyard. There are several different nozzles and it has braces to keep the fountain platform centered in whatever vessel you use. Direct sunlight is a must for this to function properly

So far the fountain is operating perfectly. I would have given it five stars, but it does not operate properly unless it is fully charged.
