I like this panel and so far it works for me. I read other reviews where it stops working, I will update this in the future if this happens. This has a metal bar that you attach so the panel is at 45 degrees. I have a much more expensive one that doesn’t have this so it is a big plus. It is waterproof. I got it on sale so I would buy it again.

I have a 1997 gmc 1500 that is driven about every two weeks or so. Before using this charger my battery would die in about 5 days. I would have to jump it off to start it. After plugging in this solar panel to the cigarette lighter and laying it on the dash, my battery is fully charged and it starts right up when I need it. One thing to check before using the lighter is that your lighter plug is always hot. If not the current can’t go to the battery. I retired in January and I don’t drive much anymore. This was exactly what I needed. I didn’t want to run an extension cord across my driveway and use a trickle charger. This was perfect for me. I have been using it about a month with no issues. It has a green light that lets you know the battery is fully charged. I would recommend this for anyone who doesn’t drive enough to keep their battery charged.

Soldered wire connections were not good, product didn’t work on arrival. Has to be re soldered.

I bought this specifically for it’s physical size. I mounted it on top of my outboard motor and hooked it up to my electric trolling motor battery so I could get an extra couple hours on the water. Plus it keeps the battery charged and ready to go when parked. I did test it by charging a couple of batteries prior to install and it worked it should. Single red light for charging, green light when charged. Very simple to use.
