Description
- 【Enhanced Performance with 9 Busbars】Experience superior performance with the leading 9 busbars technology. This advanced design minimizes the risk of microcracks, ensuring a longer service life compared to conventional 5-busbar designs. Also, it effectively lowers the module’s working temperature by approximately 2℃, further optimizing its overall performance.
- 【Higher Efficiency, More Power Output】With Grade A+ 166mm large monocrystalline solar cells, this panel achieves a remarkable 22-23% conversion rate, outperforming conventional options. It generates up to 500Wh of electricity per day with 5 hours of direct sunlight. Unleash the potential of solar energy with our high-performance panel.
- 【Optimal Performance in Low-Light Conditions】Equipped with bypass diodes, this 100W solar panel ensures optimal performance in low-light conditions. Minimizing power drops caused by shade and eliminating hot spots, it ensures consistent output.
- 【Robust and Weather-resistant】Designed with an IP65 rated junction box and solar connectors, this panel is built to endure water splashes and rain. Its corrosion-resistant aluminum frame ensures long-lasting outdoor use, lasting for decades. Withstanding heavy snow loads up to 5400 Pa and high winds up to 2400 Pa, it ensures exceptional durability in harsh environments.
- 【Easy Installation, Versatile Application】Effortlessly install this solar panel with pre-drilled holes, ensuring a fast and secure setup. It is compatible with HQST Z Brackets and Tilt Mount Brackets, offering flexibility in installation options. Perfect for a wide range of applications including RVs, vans, motorhomes, rooftops, cabins, yachts, boats, and more.

Works but not great. Definitely not as good as my other panels. Open circuit voltage is low and that is a problem as my victron charge controller needs the panel to be at least 5v more than the battery before it will turn on. This one doesn’t do that on most days and is not putting out what the label on it says it should be in full direct sun light.

Just doing some testing. One panel is putting out 74-77 watts. Both panels are are hitting a combined 145-154 watts but it seems to stabilize at 147 watts. Either way it’s more then what my full size stand up freezer is pulling. So I can charge my power bank while running my freezer without a problem. If I add 2 more panels I’ll be able to push 300 watts.

The description said, “Bypass diodes minimize power drop caused by shade”. I was disappointed that this aspect didn’t really work. If even a tiny corner is shaded, then the output from the panel drops to nearly zero. This wouldn’t be an issue if the entire panel were in full sun, but for my application it’s a big problem.

Panel works well. But for travel it is on the heavier side and bulky.

These were the most cost effective solar panels available on Amazon I think. That may be different when you read this but currently I think it’s the case. I bought 4 during covid, then bought another 4 recently. They are all rated for 100 Watts, with a very small difference in open circuit voltage. All panels checked out and landed within open circuit voltage listed on the panels. Connected with 15 foot bougerv solar wires and connectors into 2 MPPT controllers. Wired in series I believe. Can’t remember right now. With properly rated wire between the controllers and the battery, we are still getting 5 – 600 watts out of this setup, max. I expected much closer to 800. We are going to try a series/parallel setup next to see if we can get closer to the 100 watt value of each panel.
I’m not disappointed with them. They are cheap solar panels. If you have a premium of space – buy nicer ones. I knocked off a star for the lackluster performance. I will come back later if the series/parallel setup proves out to be much more efficient but I doubt it. That being said – they didn’t come with mounting brackets so figure that into your cost. They are very light but seem well made. I have no complaints at this time, based on my expectations. It’s just that under load they don’t perform at 100 watts with my specific setup. Install was done with an electrical engineer, so I have no doubts they are properly wired up.

I have 12 of these panels and they work great. They usually top up my batteries before noon.
They were all packaged very well and had zero shipping damage.
