Description
- Excellent Generator: The generator adopts 500W three-phase NdFeB permanent magnet synchronous motor, low noise, and long lifespan. The outer shell is designed for fast heat dissipation. And the external MPPT controller provides you an efficient tracking performance.
- Low Start-up Speed: The blade is made of nylon fiber, waterproof, corrosion-proof, and lightweight. Temperature bearing is available from -40℃ to 80℃. The generator’s start speed only needs 2 m/s, and it can automatically adjust the direction to get the maximum wind speed.
- Easy Assembly: This wind turbine kit will come with the hoop installed, more convenient than the flange. Meanwhile, the blade is accurately designed with the hub and fixing accessories, providing easier assembly for you.
- High-quality Material: The turbine’s body is made of die-casting aluminum, and the tail is made of stainless steel, features of casting shape, model in one, high tenacity. The surface of the turbine is disposed of baking varnish, corrosion-proof, waterproof, and durable.
- Various Application: With high wind energy utilization and efficiency, the wind turbine can be widely used in charging for home monitoring, motor home, boats, gazebos, chalets, marine, and any other home usage.

Controller did not work , the wind turbine works nice

The wind turbine was well packaged and very well built. The only issue I have is it gives no where near the power it is advertised to. I get 10 to 15 volts in 40 mph winds and 1 to 2 amps never made it ober 20 volts in 70 mph wind gusts.

Seems to be made ok, but there are issues:
The plastic insert pushed out of the main stop nut after finally getting it tight enough that the blade disk doesn’t loosen and start wobbling. The tightening torque for that nut should be specified.
The big issue is how little power this thing puts out. Rated power is 500W – the most that I’ve seen at any time is 1.1W during gusts that were far higher than the rated wind speed of 13m/s. The generator has put out 8 watt-hours total over the past 50 hours, but something is wrong with this unit or the claims that they make of this being a 500 watt machine are nonsense.

Very good construction, easy assembly and sleak. Only down fall I have is that it didn’t keep my batteries charged. 400 watts produced should have been enough to charge them. We had two days of 20-25 mile/hr winds and didn’t keep them charged. To me, you need a steady wind. I measured 6.5 volts from the controller battery output. The turbine was spinning pretty fast. Also made sure all three turbine wires had output.

Purchased for sailboat but this is a heavy duty 2 in attachment that needs guy wires, blades are 24 in long. So you need at least 12 ft clearance

The construction is great quality, the output is nowhere near what they are advertising. In sustained 40mph winds I had a 5.5 amp output at 12.8 volts, which equals 70.4 watts. If you are expecting anything more than that, buy something else.
